ECHS Recruitment 2026: Medical and Non-Medical Vacancies in Udhampur and Nagrota Gujroo

The Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Station Cell Udhampur has announced recruitment for various Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical staff positions. These roles are available at ECHS Polyclinics in Udhampur and Nagrota Gujroo (J&K) on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year.

The contract is renewable for an additional year or until the candidate reaches the maximum age limit, subject to performance and meeting established criteria. Eligible candidates, including Ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, and Widows of Ex-servicemen, are encouraged to apply, with preference given to these categories as per government regulations.

Note: A vacancy for House Keeper is allotted in lieu of a Chowkidar at Rs. 21,800/- per month.

Application Process

Interested candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format available on the official website www.echs.gov.in. Applications, along with self-attested photocopies of educational qualification certificates and work experience documents, should be submitted in duplicate to the OIC, Station Cell (ECHS), Udhampur.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 02 February 2026, by 2:00 PM. Late applications will not be accepted. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the Qualitative Requirements will be called for an interview.

Interview Details

The interviews are scheduled to take place from 17 to 19 February 2026. Candidates must report to the Station Cell (ECHS), Udhampur by 8:30 AM. The interview sessions will be conducted between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Candidates must carry all original documents, including 10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduation/Post-graduation certificates, diplomas, work experience records, discharge book, PPO, service records, and two passport-sized color photographs. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
