Position Title: Finance Manager
Location: Srinagar, Jammu &Kashmir
Reporting to: General Manager
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; a master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals and enhance profitability.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including profit/loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure smooth business operations.
Ensure compliance with all statutory laws, regulations, and taxation requirements.
Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual performance against budgets.
Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, such as cost analysis, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
Supervise the finance and accounts team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions as required.
Identify process improvements to enhance financial controls and optimize efficiency. Oversee payroll processing, vendor management, and expense tracking.
Desired Attributes
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or a similar leadership role in finance/accounting.
Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
Expertise in financial tools, reporting systems, and modern financial software.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of local financial laws, taxation policies, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
High level of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
