Applications through online mode are invited from eligible candidates for the vacant / likely to be vacant posts of Junior Residents in various departments/sections of Govt. Medical College Baramulla, initially for a period of 06 months extendable up-to a maximum of 01 year on the basis of work conduct/performance as reported by the concerned Head of the Department.

राजकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज बारामूला के विभिन्न विभागों/अनुभागों में जूनियर रेजिडेंट के रिक्त/संभावित रिक्त पदों के लिए पात्र उम्मीदवारों से ऑनलाइन मोड के माध्यम से आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं। यह नियुक्ति शुरू में 06 महीने की अवधि के लिए होगी, जिसे संबंधित विभागाध्यक्ष की रिपोर्ट और कार्य आचरण/प्रदर्शन के आधार पर अधिकतम 01 वर्ष तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है।

Online application forms will be available on the official website of Govt. Medical College Baramulla www.gmcbaramulla.ac.in from and the last date for filling of online applications complete in all respects along with the following requisite documents /testimonials shall be 25-06-2026 till 6:00 PM.

ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र राजकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज बारामूला की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट www.gmcbaramulla.ac.in पर उपलब्ध होंगे और सभी प्रकार से पूर्ण ऑनलाइन आवेदन भरने की अंतिम तिथि आवश्यक दस्तावेजों/प्रमाणपत्रों के साथ 25-06-2026 शाम 6:00 बजे तक होगी।

Documents required:

1. MBBS Marks certificates of all years.
2. Internship completion certificate.
3. Permanent Registration Certificate from State Medical Council.
4. Attempt certificate of all professional examinations.
5. Degree Certificate.
6. Date of Birth Certificate.
7. Domicile Certificate.
8. Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs.500/- as Form Fee through online mode before the last date of filling of application forms.
9. Affidavit strictly as prescribed under (Annexure A) duly attested by 1st Class judicial Magistrate.

Mode of selection:

Selection of the candidates shall be based on the merit of the candidates in the Screening Test/Written Examination. However, the date of Written Examination/ Screening Test shall be notified separately on the official website of Govt. Medical College Baramulla.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The engages shall not be entitled to private practice or undertake simultaneous part time / full time job anywhere else. He / She shall work on Full time basis.
2. The selected candidates shall not leave the department before completion of his/her sanctioned tenure failing which the security deposit shall be forfeited and no experience certificate shall be issued.
3. The first month’s salary shall be kept as security deposit by the institution and shall be paid only after the successful completion of full time tenure by the candidate.
4. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or advance notice.
5. Mere submission of the documents/certificates shall not be considered as final, candidature of any candidate is provisional and is subject to cancellation, Ab-initio, if found ineligible by any means at any stage of recruitment process / selection.
6. The candidates in their own interest are directed to go through the advertisement notice thoroughly and submit the application forms accordingly. Any application form found incomplete by any means can be cancelled without any prior notice.
7. After the provisional selection of any candidate, his/her Candidature will be subject to the submission of all the requisite documents and satisfactory CID Verification.
8. The selection/ appointment of candidates shall be subject to outcome of writ petition pending with any court of law.

Note:

• Submission of all the requisite documents is compulsory failing which candidature of such applicant will be cancelled without any prior notice.
• The candidates applying are required to submit application forms through online mode only, no other mode of application shall be entertained.

AFFIDAVIT FORMAT FOR JUNIOR RESIDENT (Annexure A Outline Summary):

The candidate must declare on oath that they are not on the rolls of any other institution; they are freshers and have not done previous junior residency/house jobs of 1 year or more in J&K; certificates provided are genuine; they understand provisional selection requires CID verification; they will not leave mid-way or their first month salary security deposit will be forfeited; and they will not indulge in private practice. Duly attested by a 1st Class Judicial Magistrate.
