Applications on the prescribed format (Annexure-A) are invited from eligible candidates of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement against the following posts on Academic Arrangement Basis under 5.0. 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020 as per the following eligibility criteria shown against each:-

Eligibility Criteria

Master Degree in Psychology with M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from any Institution or University recognized by Rehabilitation council of India.

At least 2 years experience in Child/ Adolescence Mental Health/ Clinical Psychology from an institution duly recognized by National Medical Commission of India/University duly recognized by University Grants Commission

03 (Three)

Master Degree in Psychology with M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from any Institution or University recognized by Rehabilitation council of India.

Master Degree in Psychology, Social work/Sociology with three years working experience in any Drug De-addiction Centre associated with Departments of Psychiatry of the Medical Colleges duly recognized by National Medical Commission.

B Ed. In Special Education from any recognized Institution/ University.

Remedial Therapist Level-6 (35400-112400)

Graduation with B Ed. In Special Education (Remedial) with experience in Autism, learning Disability and Intellectual Disability from any recognized Institution/University.

02 (Two)

Occupational Therapist/Jr. Occupational therapist Level-6 (35400-112400)

10+2 with science or above qualification with minimum diploma or having degree in Occupational therapy course from any recognized Institution.

The terms & conditions of the contract for engagement on Academic Arrangement Basis shall be as follows:

Initially for a period of one year or till the posts are filled up on regular basis by the competent authority (whichever is earlier).

GMC Srinagar Jobs Advertisement Notice No 05 AH of 2024

The engaged person shall be paid salary at the minimum of pay scale in accordance with S.O 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020.

The selected Candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this institution to the effect that they will not leave the contract before the completion of one year’s contract.

Abandoning/ termination of the agreement as the case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side; falling which the salary will not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shall be released on completion of sanctioned term.
