Subject: Advertisement for engagement of candidates for the posts of Casualty Medical Officer in Government Medical College, Doda on academic arrangement basis in terms of SO 364 of 2020.

ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE No: 14-GMCD of 2025

Applications are invited from non-PSC candidates for the posts of Casualty Medical Officer for a period of one year, extendable up to six years in terms of SO-364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020. The appointment shall be initially for one year, extendable on a yearly basis depending on performance and conduct, or till regular selection is made as per the recruitment rules. Extension beyond three years shall require approval from the Administrative Department.

General Instructions

Candidates are advised to read all terms and conditions before filling out the application form.
The application form (Annexure “A”) is enclosed with the advertisement.
Applications shall be accepted only in the prescribed format through email with all required documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
The selected candidates will receive consolidated pay equivalent to the revised basic pay corresponding to the minimum of the pre-revised scale for the post of Medical Officer in the Health Department as per SRO 193 dated 24.04.2018, plus Dearness Allowance.
The selection criteria will be notified separately.

Terms and Conditions

Maximum age limit: 50 years as on the date of this notice.
Engagement is purely temporary and shall be on academic arrangement basis under SO 364 of 2020.
The engagement may be terminated by either side with one month’s notice or by forfeiting one month’s salary.
Engagement may be terminated without notice when the post is filled regularly.
Incomplete or invalid applications without requisite documents will be rejected.
In-service candidates need not apply.
Number of posts is indicative; GMC Doda reserves the right to increase or decrease posts.
This engagement confers no right to regular appointment, which will be made strictly as per rules.
The engagement will be terminated immediately once regular selections are made.
