Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement against the below mentioned post on academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020; Dated: \text{27.11.2020} for the Department of Clinical Psychology, (Psychiatry) Government Medical College, Srinagar initially for a period of one year extendable upto a maximum of \text{06} years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made on regular basis by the competent authority whichever is earlier.

| | | | Masters in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institute. |

| | | | MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Medical & Social Psychology from a University recognized by RCI. |

| | | | With 2 years teaching/Research experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject/clinical psychology in an institute duly recognized by NMC/RCI. |

Terms & Conditions:

* The maximum age of the applicant at the time of submission of application must not be more than (67) years.

* The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this Institution that they will not leave the Department before the completion of the one-year’s contract.

Abandoning/terminating of the engagement as case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and the same shall be released only on completion of the sanctioned term.

* In case of misconduct, indiscipline, unsatisfactory performance or any action detrimental to the interest of institute, the engagement of the candidate shall be terminated without prior notice.

* No application of the in-service candidate shall be entertained by virtue of the existence of S.O. 364 of 2020; Dated: \text{27.11.2020}.

* The applications of those candidates shall be rejected who fail to upload any requisite requirements/documents/Marks sheets etc., with their application formats.

* In case any post of the aforesaid categories gets filled up on regular basis during the intervening period from the date of issuance of notification to the date of selection, such post(s) shall be deemed to have been withdrawn/deleted from the notification and the final selection shall be made as per availability of posts at the time of final selection.

* The selection committee reserves the right not to fill-up any post in case Administrative exigency so demands.

* The candidate engaged on academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. \text{27-11-2020} shall be deemed to have been relieved/disengaged in case of permanent regular faculty member recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission through direct recruitment or promotion joins on the same post.

* The appointee on academic arrangement basis shall be paid consolidated monthly salary as per Rule 11 of Jammu and Kashmir Medical and Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis), Rules 2020 notified Vide S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. \text{27-11-2020}.

* The engagee shall be authorized to take leave as per S.O. 364 only.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES:-

a) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before filling in the online application form.

b) Link for filling up online application form for the above posts shall be available on the official website of Government Medical College, Srinagar i.e. https://www.gmcs.ac.in w.e.f 13.10.2025} from 10:00 AM} to 23.10.2025} upto 4:00 PM}. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.

c) Candidates are required to sign up before filling in the application form.

d) After logging into an account, candidates are required to fill in all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (OTR) i.e. personal information, contact information & educational Qualifications and uploading documents etc.

e) Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following original certificates/documents. The size of Certificate/document must be less than or equal to \text{1024KB} in PDF format only:-

i. Date of Birth certificate.

ii. Domicile certificate.

iii. Master’s degree in Psychology or clinical psychology from a recognized University or Institute.

iv. MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Medical & Social Psychology degree certificate from a University recognized by RCI.

v. RCI registration certificate.

vi. Teaching experience certificate as per eligibility criteria.

vii. Research Publications, if any.

viii. Proof of participation with oral presentation of papers, if any.

ix. Proof of participation with poster presentation of papers, if any.

x. Proof for writing a book or chapter of a book, if any.

xi. Proof of Gold Medal for 1st Position overall, if any.

xii. Proof of having secured Distinction, if any.

xiii. Category certificate, if any.

xiv. Affidavit duly attested from Judicial Magistrate stating that the incumbent is not in-service candidate.

f) The candidate shall also be required to upload images of recent photograph, signature and thumb impression. Size of photograph (passport size) and signature/Thumb must be less than or equal to only.

g) The candidate must write his/her name, parentage and date of birth strictly as per the matriculation certificate.

h) Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the online application portal on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

i) Applicants are advised to fill in all the fields of the online application form with due diligence and after carefully reading the terms and conditions given in the advertisement notification. Request for change/correction in any particulars in the application form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.

j) Applications with blurred/illegible photograph/signature will be rejected summarily.

k) In case of fake/fabricated application/registration by misusing any dignitaries name/ photo, such candidate(s) shall be held responsible for the same and liable for suitable legal action under cyber/ IT Act/relevant rules.

l) All disputes related to refund of excess payment, if any, can be resolved after following the due process at Government Medical College, Srinagar.
