Applications through online mode are i de are invited from the eligible applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and possessing the prescribed Academic/Professional qualification and age for the tenure post of Senior Residents/Demonstrator/Tutor in the disciplines as enumerated at Table “A”

“Those candidates who are not in-service shall be engaged under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated 27-11-2020 (Academic Arrangement basis), whereas application forms of the in-service eligible candidates shall be GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE GMC SRINAGAR RECRUITMENT ADVT NOTIFICATION NO 11 of 2025 entertained only after fulfillment of all pre-requisites, in accordance with the relevant rules, as envisaged in the J&K Civil Service Rules 1979 and production of NOC from the parent department as envisaged in the Circular No. 03-HME Of 2019

Dated 27.05.2019. The selected candidates shall be engaged initially for a period of one year which is extendable upto maximum of three years, however, further extension shall be granted subject to better performance of the candidates to be certified by the Concemed HODS after after completion of each year of their engagement

g) The candidate must write his/her name, parentage and date of birth strictly as per the matriculation certificate.

h) Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the online application portal on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

i) Applicants are advised to fill all the fields of the online application form with due diligence and after carefully reading the terms and Conditions given in the advertisement notification, request for change/correction in any particulars in the application form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.

all uploaded certificates in the Office of Registrar Academics, Government Medical College, Srinagar as and when asked to submit

Terms & Conditions:-

Pursuant to Government order No. 383-JK (HME) Of 2024 Dated. 20-06-2024. the Eligibility criteria has been fixed as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022 issued vide 1

The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the performance in MCO based Written Test only as prescribed vide Government order No. 383-JK (HIME) of 2024 Dated. 20-06-2024

Conditions for In-service/Not In-Service Candidates:-

For in-service candidatesS:

The In-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.

Applicants working in Director of Health Services, Kashmir/Jammu are required to submit their application forms along with No objection Certificate from their parent Department without which their application forms shall

not be entertained as envisaged in circular NO. 03-HME of 2019 Dated. 27.05.2019.

For (not in-service) Academic Arrangement Basis Candidates:

Not In-service doctors shall be paid stipend in accordance with 5.0. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020.

5. The candidates shall have to submit their application forms accompanied with the self-attested copies of the following documents:-MBBS marks sheet of all phases and qualification certificate.

MD/MS/DNB/MCH/DM qualification/degree certificate of the respective specialty in respect of medical candidates.

M.Sc Medical Biochemistry qualification/degree certificate in the case of non-medical candidates.

Ph.D Medical Biochemistry qualification/degree/Marks certificate in the case of non-medical candidates.

Affidavit(s).

As per the guidelines issued vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 Dated. 20-06-2024, the maximum tenure of Senior Residency/Tutor is three years. Any candidate having already done three years Registrarship/ Senior Residency/Demonstratorship/Tutor shall not be eligible to apply against the notified positions. However, if any candidate has done Senior Registrarship/Senior Residency/Demonstratorship/

Tutor upto 30 months, he/she can apply to do the remaining Senior Residency period so as to complete three years term

The candidates shall have to submit an Affidavit duly attested by the Judicial Magistrate to the effect that-

he/she has not clone Registrarship/Demonstratorship/Senior Residency earlier within or outside J&K Union Territory. (Only for those candidates who are applying a fresh)

He/she has done months of Residency/Demonstratorship/Tutor in the institution/medical college. (only for those candidates who have already done 30 or less than 30 months of Residency/Demonstratonship/Tutor)

The information submitted in the application forms is true and correct and nothing has been concealed therein. Those doctors who have already completed their tenure as Registrar/Demonstrator/ Senior Resident/Tutor in the discipline applying, cannot apply and their application forms shall not be considered

13 In terms of S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020, the appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis of the appointee shall be terminable on either side by serving a pnor notice of one month or on payment of

one month’s salary by the appointing authority.

14 In case of a tie in ment secured by two or more candidates in the written test, the candidate(s) older in age shall be given preference

15. No selected Candidate who joins the institution as Senior Resident shall be given Experience Certificate, if he/she fails to serve on such post/ position for at least six months.
