In terms of S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020, application on prescribed format are invited from non-PSC/retired persons for engagement as Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors on Academic Arrangement basis, initially for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years
(one year at a time and subject to performance and good conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with rules of recruitment governing the respective posts by the PSC/DPC whichever is earlier, in the below mentioned disciplines in Govt. Medical College Handwara. This is without any prejudice to any writ petition lying pending before any Hon’ble Court of law.

4. Any other additional qualifying certificate relevant for eligibility to any particular advertised post.
5. Experience Certificate issued by the Competent Authority/ Head of the institution.
6. Professional research publications, published in indexed/national journals.
7. Proof of writing a book (Foreign Book/National Book) or a book chapter published with ISBN/ISSN, if any.
8. Proof of oral paper presentation in any National/International seminar/Conference/Workshop relevant to the discipline if any with the abstract/full paper published in the proceedings/souvenir of the seminar /conference/workshop.
9. Proof of poster presentation of paper(s) in a National / International seminar/conference/ workshop relevant to the discipline if any with the abstract/full paper published in the proceedings/souvenir of the seminar /conference/workshop.
10. Proof of Gold Medal for overall first position in prescribed qualification, if any.
11. Date of Birth Certificate.
12. Affidavit from 1st class magistrate that he/she is not on the rolls of any other medical college/institution of the country as required by NMC/DCI/UGC.
13. In case of candidates already working in other medical colleges of UT of Jammu and Kashmir on academic arrangement basis, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned Head of the Institute along with application form needs to be submitted.
