Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/doctors who are resident of India (Domicile/Non-Domicile of UT of J&K) for engagement as Senior Resident in different disciplines of Govt. Medical College, Udhampur purely on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 dated 27.11.2020.

The engagement is initially for a period of one (01) year extendable up to maximum of 03 years subject to good conduct and satisfactory performance of the candidates.

Interested candidates can fill the application form annexed (Annexure-I) with this notification and submit the same to the office of the undersigned by or before 15.01.2026 (4:00 pm sharp).

The application forms should be complete in all aspects and accompanied with a non-refundable bank draft of Rupees Five Hundred only from J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Udhampur.

The application form along with requisite documents (self-attested) should reach the office by registered post or by hand. Applications sent by any other mode or after the last date shall not be entertained.

Maximum Age: 50 years as on the cut-off date.

MBBS/Diploma/MD/MS/DNB/Mch/DM – all terms mark sheets and qualification certificates.
Attempt certificate of 1st, 2nd, Pre-final and Final MBBS issued by concerned Universities.
MBBS degree and MCI/NMC/State Medical Council registration certificate.
Internship completion certificate.
Distinction / National scholarship / Honours / Medals / Academic Merit Certificate if any.
House-job (Jr.) certificate issued by concerned Principal or Equivalent authority.
FMGE certificate in case of MBBS & degree from outside the country.
Professional publications in a standard medical Journal if any.
