Government Polytechnic College, Doda (recognised by AICTE & affiliated to J&K Board of Technical Education) invites applications from eligible candidates who are domiciled of UT of J&K for engagement as Guest Faculty for the Academic Session Nov‑Dec 2026 on a need basis. The engagement is purely temporary and governed by the Directorate Order No. 37 of 2023 and the remuneration shall be as per Government Order No. 89‑JK(DSD) of 2021.

गवर्नमेंट पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज, डोडा (AICTE द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त एवं जम्मू-कश्मीर तकनीकी शिक्षा बोर्ड से संबद्ध) जम्मू-कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के स्थानीय निवासी पात्र उम्मीदवारों से शैक्षणिक सत्र नवंबर-दिसंबर 2026 के लिए आवश्यकता के आधार पर अतिथि संकाय के रूप में नियुक्ति के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है। यह नियुक्ति पूर्णतः अस्थायी है और निदेशालय आदेश संख्या 37/2023 एवं पारिश्रमिक सरकारी आदेश संख्या 89‑JK(DSD)/2021 के अनुसार होगा।

📋 Posts, Branch/Discipline & Minimum Qualification

The following disciplines are open for Guest Faculty engagement. The minimum qualification is a degree/diploma with at least 55% marks (or M.A/M.Sc for language and science subjects) from a recognised university/board.

अतिथि संकाय नियुक्ति के लिए निम्नलिखित विषय/शाखाएँ खुली हैं। न्यूनतम योग्यता मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/बोर्ड से 55% अंकों के साथ डिग्री/डिप्लोमा (या भाषा/विज्ञान विषयों के लिए M.A/M.Sc) है।

6	Chemistry	Masters in Chemistry (MSc) with min. 55% marks.
7	Physics	Masters in Physics (MSc) with min. 55% marks.

📊 Selection Criteria (Total 100 Points)

A. 80 points for basic qualification (pro‑rata basis).
B. 05 points for higher qualification.
C. 05 points for GATE/NET/SET.
D. 05 points for teaching experience (Polytechnic Diploma level or Higher Level) on pro‑rata basis (01 point for each academic year).
E. 05 points for interaction with the concerned candidates.

चयन मानदंड: मूल योग्यता के लिए 80 अंक (प्रो-रेटा), उच्च योग्यता, GATE/NET/SET, शिक्षण अनुभव और साक्षात्कार/इंटरैक्शन के लिए 5-5 अंक।

⚖️ Terms & Conditions of Engagement

The engagement shall be strictly as per Directorate Order No. 37 of 2023 dated 24.01.2023 and Government Order No. 89‑JK(DSD) of 2021 dated 18.11.2021 regarding remuneration. The key conditions are:

The engagement is purely on guest faculty norms and shall be only for one academic session.
Engagement shall be against a clear vacancy only.
Remuneration shall be given strictly as per Government norms.
Selected candidates must submit an undertaking/affidavit duly authenticated by a First Class Magistrate before joining, clearly stating that they shall not claim continuation of services and the agreement can be terminated at any time without notice.
