Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Nownagri TGT Music Contract Engagement 2026-27

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Nownagri, District Pulwama (J&K UT), invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of TGT Music on a purely contract basis for the academic year 2026-27. The engagement is temporary and shall last only up to the end of the current academic session or until the joining of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.

जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय (JNV), नौनगरी, जिला पुलवामा (जम्मू और कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश), शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए टीजीटी संगीत के पद पर शुद्ध अनुबंध के आधार पर पात्र उम्मीदवारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है। यह नियुक्ति अस्थायी है और वर्तमान शैक्षणिक सत्र के अंत तक या नियमित अधिकारी के शामिल होने तक, जो भी पहले हो, रहेगी।

📋 Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications for TGT Music

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music/Performing Arts from a recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate, provided that Music subject is studied in all years of degree as a main subject.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE recognised institution with at least 50% marks.

Desirable:

• Teaching experience in a similar capacity in a recognised school.
• Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
• Experience of working in a residential school.
• Knowledge of the regional language.

आवश्यक योग्यता: संगीत/प्रदर्शन कला में स्नातक (50% अंक) और शिक्षा स्नातक (B.Ed) NCTE मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से 50% अंकों के साथ। वांछनीय: मान्यता प्राप्त विद्यालय में शिक्षण अनुभव, हिंदी और अंग्रेजी माध्यम में शिक्षण में प्रवीणता, आवासीय विद्यालय में कार्य का अनुभव, और क्षेत्रीय भाषा का ज्ञान।

⏳ Age, Remuneration & Contract Period

• Age Limit: 18 to 50 years as on 01.08.2026.
• Remuneration: ₹40,625 per month (fixed).
• Contract Period: From 21.09.2026 to 31.03.2027 or till the joining of the regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.

• आयु सीमा: 01.08.2026 को 18 से 50 वर्ष।
• पारिश्रमिक: ₹40,625 प्रति माह (निर्धारित)।
• अनुबंध अवधि: 21.09.2026 से 31.03.2027 तक या नियमित अधिकारी के शामिल होने तक, जो भी पहले हो।

📝 Application Procedure & Important Dates

Candidates must apply in person using the prescribed application form with a recent passport-size photograph. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via e‑mail, and they must bring self‑attested copies of testimonials, certificates, photographs, and ID proof for the interview.
