Subject:-Advertisement for the District Cadre posts of Drivers Grade-ll, in the Pay Level-2 (19900-63200) in District Judiciary of UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for participating in the selection process for the District Cadre posts of Drivers Grade-ll in the Pay Level-2 (19900-63200) in District Judiciary of UT of Jammu & Kashmir. The important dates/details with regard to the posts being advertised are as under:
The question paper shall comprise of 50 questions and each question shall carry one mark. Each question will contain multiple choices
There shall be no negative marking:
The candidates who secure marks as per merit will be called for Interview/viva-voce in the ratio of 1:5

2. DOMICILE: The candidate(s) seeking to apply for the advertised posts shall be Domicile(s) of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on the prescribed format in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2020 notified vide 5.0. 166 of 2020 dated 18.05.2020, on or before the cut-off date.
The Domicile certificate is required to be uploaded while submitting online application

10. PROCEDURE FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: The necessary Instructions regarding filling up of online applications, including the details of the Online Portal in this regard shall be made available on the High Court Website separately. Candidates will be required to fill the application form in online mode only and no other means/mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates are advised to fill the details on the application form carefully and upload the properly scanned documents/ photographs on the portal as they may not get the chance to edit the applications forms later. Uploading blurred or unclear photographs/documents may lead to rejection of the application forms.
11. IN-SERVICE CANDIDATES: The in-service candidates/contractual employees shall submit photocopy of the filled up online application form through proper channel viz the concerned Head of Department. In the event of failure of the candidate to route the application through proper channel, his/her eligibility shall be assessed as if he/she is not an in-service candidate.
The Head of Department concerned shall forward the application form of the in-service candidates to the address of the Principal Secretary to Hon’ble the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Srinagar, within 15 days after the last date of filing their application form.
12. FINALITY OF DECISION OF THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY: The decision of the Competent Authority in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of tests
examination(s), allotment of examination centre, debarment for indulging in malpractices, preparation of result merit list, etc. will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry/correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Important Instructions:

consideration under Reserved Categories must ensure that they possess a valid Category Certificate strictly as on the Cut-off Date and the same is required to be uploaded while submitting online application. The reservation for various categories would be determined as per the provisions of Reservation Act, 2004 & the Rules framed there under as amended by the Government of UT of Jammu & Kashmir vide S.O. 176 Dated 15.03.2024 read with S.O. 305 Dated 21.05.2024. A candidate uploading invalid or irrelevant Category Certificate shall face rejection of his/her application form.

APPLICATION FEE: A Fee payable: Rs.400/-(Rupees Four Hundred only) for all categories. Fees are to be paid through online mode only. Application received without prescribed fee shall be rejected.

DATE & CENTRE OF EXAMINATION: The eligible candidates shall have to appear in the test on the date(s) to be notified separately. The information about venues, dates of Driving test/written test/Interview/downloading of Admit Card to the eligible candidates shall be available on the official website of the High Court, le, https://www.jkhighcourt.nic.in in due course.
No claim of being unaware of the dates and schedule shall be entertained. The prospective candidates are advised to keep watch on the High Court website during whole selection process. No representation for change of examination centre shall be entertained under any
circumstances. SCHEME OF EXAMINATION: The Selection criteria shall consist of:

Driving Test (Qualifying nature)
All the applicants are required to appear in Driving Test in first instance and only those candidates who qualify the Driving test shall be eligible for appearing in written/OMR test. II) Written CBT/OMR test structure (50 marks)

Applications alongwith with the prescribed fee will be received only through online mode on the recruitment portal of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh link of which will be activated w.e.f. 28.06.2025 on the High Court website: https://www.jkhigcourt, nic. in. Application Form and fee payment shall not be accepted I
entertained after the cut-off date fixed for receipt of the same. Candidates are not required to submit the printout of the Application Form fee payment receipt in the office of Pr. Secretary to Hon’ble the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh at this stage.
The printout Application Form along with fee payment receipt and required coples of documents, however, shall be kept ready to be submitted as and when required.
The last date for the submission of online application Form as prescribed above shall be the cut-off date for determining the eligibility to apply for the post. Any qualification/experience acquired after last date of receipt/submission of online Application Forms Le. 15.07.2025 shall not be taken into account for any purpose.
The prescribed qualifications reflect the bare minimum requirement
of the job and mere possession thereof shall not entitle a candidate to be called for test/examination. Qualification/Category Certificate acquired after the last date of
submission of application shall not be taken for consideration. No TA/DA will be paid for participation in the test/examination.
In case, any information submitted by the candidate, while filling the application form is found to be incorrect or false in that event his/her candidature shall be cancelled at any stage of the selection process
The allocation of the District Cadre in favour of successful candidates shall be made on the basis of merit-cum-preference method.
The allocation of District Cadre once notified shall be final and binding on the successful candidates and no representation/request shall be entertained for change in the District Cadre so allocated. If the allocation of preferred District Cadre is not possible the decision of the Competent Authority in this regard shall be final and binding.
