(1) Master’s Degree in Science with specialization in Bio-technology/ Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences from a recognized university or equivalent.

(ii) 2 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and tech-nology organizations and scientific activities and Services.

Rs. 56000+27% HRA Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review.

Rs. 67000+ 27% HRA Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review.

i) Master’s Degree in Science with specialization in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences from a recognized university or equivalent with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree.

ii) Those with 3 years Bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET/GATE qualification.

iii) 2 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.

Desirable Qualification

Experience in analyzing high throughput SNP genotyping, re-sequencing and transcriptomics data.

Essential Qualification

Master’s degree in engineering or technology or Doctoral degree in Life Science/ Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology Bioinformatics or any other related field from a recognized university or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/Bioinformatics, experience in analyzing high throughput SNP genotyping data, NGS data, re-sequencing and Transcriptomics data,

Essential Qualification

i) Master’s degree in engineering or technology or Doctoral degree in Life Science/ Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology or any other related field from a recognized university or equivalent.

ii) 3 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of Statistical and Computational genomics/Bio-informatics, experience in analyzing high throughput SNP genotyping, re-sequencing and NGS data.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for the post of Project Associate-II & Project Scientist-I is 35 years and Project Scientist-Il is 40 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation in upper age limit to Women (5 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years). Age for and other eligible categories shall be applicable as per GOI/ICAR rules.
