Applications are invited to attend the in-person interview for the Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow/ Young Professional positions in externally funded projects at NBPGR, New Delhi as mentioned below.

Qualified NET/GATE or any other national-level examination conducted by central government departmerits and their agencies and institutions.

Desirable qualification:

Experience in plant biotic and abiotic stress physiology, biological data analyses

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Biotechnology Agriculture/Botany/Genetics/ plant science/Life sciences/related subject from a recognized university with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of research experience in the relevant area Or

Candidates having a post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET/GATE/A selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government and their agencies and institutions and a minimum of two years of research experience in the relevant area

Desirable Qualification:

Experience in molecular biology-related work, PCR, gene cloning, gene editing, plant tissue culture, development of transgenic plants, etc. as proven by published papers in relevant areas

Upper age limit: 35 years*

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Brotechnology/Agriculture/Botany/Genetics/Plant Science/Life Sciences/related subject or Professional Graduate degree holder of 4 years duration in Agricultural Sciences/biotechnology/other relevant fields of Life Sciences. Desirable Qualification:

Experience in molecular biology-related work, PCR, gene cloning, gene editing, plant tissue culture, development of transgenic plants, etc. as proven by published papers in relevant areas Age Limit: 21-45 years
