The Institute shall be conducting two months Guru Shishya Hastshilp Prashikshan Program (GSHPP) in Kashmiri Handknotted Carpet Craft at Wakharwan area of District Pulwama under National Handicrafts
Development Programme (NHDP) Skill Development in Handicrafts Sector (SDHS) sanctioned by O/o Development Commissioner Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.
In this connection, the Institute requires the services of a Senior Technical Supervisor, for overall supervision of the silk carpet weaving activity of the training centre in the above said area during which an amount of Rs. 22, 018 shall be paid, as admissible under the Program. The eligibility criteria for the above engagement is mentioned here-under:

Max Age.
Matriculation 20 years (Out of which, 05 years experience as a Supervisor in any Govt./ Private Organization is mandatory 60 years.
The application affixed with recent colored passport size photograph along with Aadhaar Card and other requisite documents must be submitted to the Director, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT), Baghi-Ali-Mardhan-Khan, Nowshera, Srinagar by or before 02.08.2025.
