NOTICE FOR ENGAGEMENT OF “INDUSTRIAL TRAINEES” IN
INDIAN RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY LIMITED (IREDA)
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) is a ‘Navratna’ Government of India Enterprise under the
administrative control of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). IREDA is a Public Limited Government Company
established as a Non-Banking Financial Institution in 1987 engaged in promoting, developing and extending financial
assistance for setting up projects relating to new and renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency/conservation.
IREDA invites applications from young and dynamic personnel having passed Intermediate Examination of Institute of Cost
Accountants of India and interested to undergo Industrial Training at IREDA.
1. Job Description: Corporate Accounts, Resource Raising, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial
Management, Financial Accounting, Regulatory Compliance, Direct/Indirect Taxation, Auditing etc.
2. No. of Vacancies: Twelve (12)
3. Duration of Industrial Training: Minimum 12 months; Maximum 15 months
4. Educational Qualifications (Recognized by AICTE/ UGC/ GoI):
a. Graduation – Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade; and
b. ICWAI/CMA (Intermediate Examination – both Groups/Stages) with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent
grade
5. Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 27 years
6. Stipend: Rs.27,000/- per month (The Industrial Traineesshall not be entitled to any other benefit/ facilities/ allowances
apart from the stipend).
7. Application Fee: Nil
8. Place of Posting: New Delhi
9. Leaves: One (01) day’s leave per month. In addition, trainee shall be eligible for 60 days leave without stipend for
appearing in the examination of ‘The Institute of Cost Accountants of India’. The trainees availing leave in excess of
their leave which they are entitled, shall be required to undergo training for a further period equivalent to excess leave
taken by them. They shall agree to stay beyond normal working hours, whenever required and for this no extra stipend
will be paid to them. Unauthorized absence for consecutive 10 days will disqualify them for imparting further training.
10. Logistics & Support: Trainees will be required to bring their own laptops. IREDA shall provide them working space, and
other necessities as deemed fit.
11. Exclusion: Candidates who have undergone training under similar scheme for one year or more in any other PSUs will
not be eligible to apply.
12. Medical Fitness Certificate: The selected candidates will be allowed for training subject to being found medically fit
based on Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Registered Medical Practitioner.
13. Confidentiality: The selected candidates shall maintain absolute integrity and maintain the secrecy of the documents
they may come across during course of training. They shall not share any information without prior approval of
Management.
14. How to Apply:
a. The candidate must go through and ensure compliance to the Terms & Conditions as mentioned in this

b. The candidate must have a valid mobile number and e-mail ID before applying for the industrial training.

d. Online applications received through the above referred link will only be accepted. No other modes will be
entertained for receiving the application in whatever conditions it may be.
e. Incomplete/ Erroneous applications or applications submitted online after expiry of last date of submission will
be summarily rejected.
f. Last date to apply/submission of online applications by the candidates is 5th August, 2025.
15. Mode of Selection:
a. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on percentage of aggregate marks obtained by him/her in
ICWAI/CMA (Intermediate Examination), date for which shall be informed separately. In case of candidates
securing equal marks/percentage in their ICWAI/CMA (Intermediate Examination)/interview, as applicable, the
candidate with higher age will be considered.
b. Merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not assure engagement as an Industrial Trainee.
16. General Instructions:
a. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
b. Candidates, who fulfill all the above conditions, can only apply.
c. The number of Industrial Trainees to be engaged is indicative and may undergo changes without any further
notification.
d. The candidature of applicants will be provisional & subject to subsequent verification of certificates. In case, it is
detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or
has furnished any incorrect/ false information, his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
e. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence will attract immediate disqualification.
f. No Travel Expenses (TA/DA) will be provided to the candidates for document verification, interview, joining or
thereafter during the period of industrial training.
g. No Boarding or Lodging facility will be provided to the Industrial Trainees.
h. IREDA has no obligation to give regular employment to the Industrial Trainees. They shall have no right to claim
regular employment from IREDA on the basis of their industrial training at any point of time. This industrial
training shall not create any liability on IREDA for providing any job to the Industrial Trainees. IREDA Management
does not take any responsibility for any sort of employment/ placement.
i. The decision of IREDA’s Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to
eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process
either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is solely at
the discretion of IREDA’s Management based on suitability of candidates/ Company’s requirement, and no claim
will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/ insufficient number of
candidates.
j. IREDA will not communicate to any applicant with respect to their non-selection.
