The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir, has issued a notice for a walk-in-interview for the engagement of Contractual Assistant Professors.
This academic arrangement is specifically for teaching, research, and allied academic activities within the Department of Civil Engineering for the year 2026.
Candidates must possess a B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
Applicants with a Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) or those who acquired a Ph.D. directly after B.E./B.Tech from recognized Institutes of National Importance are also eligible.
Selected candidates will receive monthly emoluments of 50,000/- per month.
The tenure is initially until December 31, 2026, or until the post is filled on a substantive basis, whichever comes first.
