Applications are invited from interested candidates for temporary engagement as Guest Faculty at ITI Srinagar for academic session 2026-27 conducting training in the designated trades/subjects.

a) B.Voc/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized Engineering college/University with one year experience in the relevant field.OR

b) Two years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from AICTE recognized board of Technical education or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two years experience in the relevant field.

c) “NAC/NTC/SDC passed in the trade of Mechanic Motor Vehicle” and CTS/NCIC passed in the relevant trade with three years experience in the relevant field.

Paper Machie-Artisan (Theory Instructor)

a) B.Voc/Degree in the arts from a recognized University with one year experience in the relevant field.OR

b) Two years diploma in fine arts from a recognized board of education with two year experience in the relevant field.

c) NTC/A/IC passed in the trade of “Paper Machie Artisan” with three years experience in the relevant field.

d) Registered Artisan of Handicraft department of Central/State govt. with 05 years experience.

Essential Qualification: Relevant Regular/NPTC variants of National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) under DGT.

Wood carving Artisan (Theory Instructor)

a) B.Voc/Degree in Wood Technology from recognized Engineering college/University with one-year experience in the relevant field.OR

b) Three years Diploma in Wood Technology from a recognized board of education with two years experience in the relevant field.

c) NTC/NTC passed in the trade of “Wood Work Technician”/”Wood Carving Artisan” with three years experience in the relevant field.

d) Registered Wood Carving Artisan of Handicraft department of Central/State govt. with 05 years experience.

Essential Qualification: Relevant Regular/NPTC variants of National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) under DGT.
