Educational Qualifications & Essential Requirements

1. School of Behavioural Forensics

Associate Professor (Clinical Psychology) (RCI):
- Essential Education Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline with first class in preceding degree.
- Relevant Experience: 06 Years after Ph.D. or 09 years total out of which 03 Years should be after Ph.D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of 8000 or equivalent in a reputed university, R&D Lab or relevant industry.
- Other essential requirements: 04 papers in SCI journals after Ph.D. One Ph.D. guided as sole or principal supervisor plus one continuing. Two projects on going or one project on going and completed and “Contributory Research and Laboratory Work”.
- Additional desirable requirements: 1 or more patents. Supervising two or more students for Ph.D. Strong liaison with industry; offering courses through application of ICT.
- Registration as Clinical Psychologist under RCI Act is mandatory.
Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology) (RCI) / (Non-RCI):
- Essential Education Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline with first class in preceding degree.
- Additional desirable requirements: 1 publication in SCI Journal.
- Registration as Clinical Psychologist under RCI Act is mandatory for RCI Assistant Professor (2 posts).
Assistant Professor (Forensic Psychology):
- Essential Education Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline with first class in preceding degree.
- Additional desirable requirements: 1 publication in SCI Journal.

2. School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies

Associate Professor (Criminal Law/Procedure Law):
- Essential Education Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline with first class in preceding degree.
- Relevant Experience: 06 Years after Ph.D. or 09 years total out of which 03 Years should be after Ph.D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of 8000 or equivalent in a reputed university, R&D Lab or relevant industry.

- Essential Education Qualification: Masters in relevant/allied discipline with minimum aggregate of 60%.

Lower Remuneration Provisions: In case qualified & suitable candidates are not found for advertised posts, Contractual Faculty may be appointed at lower remuneration:
- Assistant Professor (Lower Remuneration – ₹75,000/month): Master degree with minimum 1st class or 60% in relevant discipline + qualified NET Exam.
- Lecturer (Contractual – ₹68,000/month): Master degree with minimum 1st class or 60% in relevant discipline (where NET is not conducted or suitable candidate not found). Preference given to candidates pursuing Ph.D. from INI/Recognized University.
