Advertisement Notice for Contractual Assistant Professors

Applications through online mode are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as contractual Assistant Professers on academic arrangement for teaching, research and allied academic activities in the following subjects:

Departments/Subjects

Physics

Kashmiri (Habba Khatoon Centre for Kashmiri Language and Literature)

Computer Science

Management

Architecture

Eligibility

equivalent grade Master’s degree with 55% marks (or concerned/relevant/allied subject from from an accredited foreign university point-scale) in Indian University, or an equivalent degree

And

NET/SLET/SET or Ph. D

B.E/B.Tech/B.S. and M.E./M. Tech/MS. or integrated M. Tech in relevant branch with

first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees

OR BE/B.Tech and MCA with first class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.

OR Graduation of three-year duration with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and MCA with first class or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience after acquiring degree

of MCA

MCA with minimum 55% marks or equivalent GPA and NET/SET or Ph. D.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com with first class or equivalent and two years of Professional Experience after acquiring the Master’s Degree and NET/SLET/SET or PhD

B. Arch or equivalent to B. Arch, with minimum 60% marks and 3-years of relevant professional experience.

B. Arch. equivalent to B. Arch. and M. Arch or in allied subjects Architecture with mirimum 60% marks at either level and one year of relevant professional experience. RE/B.Tech/B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.E/M.Tech./MS. or integrated M. Tech in Structural Engineering with 1st class or equivalent OR Ph.D. from institution of National importance with GATE/GPAT/CEED directly after the Bachelor’s degree.

Bachelors degree or minimum 4 years diploma in any one of the streams of Design, fine Arts, Applied Arts and Architecture or Bachelors Degree in Engineering with first class of equivalent.

Design your Degree (DYOD) (Design Thinking)

Masters Degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent concerned/relevant/allied subject of Industrial Design/Visual Communication/Fine Arts /Applied Arts/ Architecture/ Interaction Design/New Media Studies/Design Management/Ergonomics/Human Factors Engineering/Indian Craft Studies and related fields of Engineering or Design

Rs. 45,000/- per month

2. NET/SET/GATE

Rs. 48,000/- per month

Rs. 50,000/- per month

b. For candidates having

1. B. Arch/M. Arch.

Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Tenure:

The contract shall be for one year (extendable up to three years based on performance/

feedback/requirement) or till the post is filled on permanent basis whichever is earlier.

III. Leaves/Vacations:

As per norms of the university governing such engagements.

IV. How to Apply:

Eligible candidates shall apply online and pay the requisite fee of Rs 300/- and thereafter submit

the hard copy of the application form along with self-attested copies of the documents and

certificates in the offices of respective Heads of the Departments/Centers on any working day by

or before the last date for submission. The candidature of those who fail to submit the hardcopies

shall not be considered.
