Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (RA) under the project titled “Design and Development of Apple Sorter and Grader Based on Color and Size” sanctioned by J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology,

Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, in favour of Mrs. Baziga Youssuf (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Islamic University of Science and Technology, The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

Essential qualification: B.Tech Electrical/ECE with 60% marks & above.

Duration

Initially for a period of six months extendable based on performance and subject to the availability of funds.

The last date for the submission of the application form is 03/03/2025.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

L The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and the candidates shall not claim for regular appointments in the university.

II. The University reserves the right to terminate the contract of non-performing candidates at any time without prior notice.

IV.

Eligible candidates must bring all the testimonials/certificates (in original and one attested copy) at the time of interview.

No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the interview.

V. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualification, experience etc at the time of appearing in the interview.

VII.

In case candidate wants to withdraw, he/she must serve one-month notice period (or one-month salary).

The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.
