Step 1

Registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal

For students who have already enrolled in the National Web portal and having login details.

a) Go to: https://nats.education.gov.in

b) Click student login

c) Type PULWAMA in the field (District to Which Institute

Belongs)

d) Chose Institute name

Type “Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kashmir”

el Fill all the field mentioned in the application form and then click on the final submit.

f) Take a print out of the application form

For students who have not enrolled in the National Web portal and does not have login details

Step (a)

Go to https://nats.education.gov.in

Click student register

Complete the application form

d. A unique enrollment number for each student will be generated.

STEP (b)

Student Login

f. Click student login

gType PULWAMA in the field (District to Which Institute Belongs)

h. Chose Institute name

L Fill all the field mentioned in the application form and then click on the final submit.

Step 2

Type “Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kashmir”

Take a print out of the application form

Registration on the University Portal

After successful registration on the NATS portal, candidates are advised to click on the given link at https://recruitment.just.ac.in/ for the registration process on the University portal.

After completing both the registration process, candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and submit the same in the office of the Dean Outreach along with the application form of NATS and fee receipt of Rs 200/- (Non- refundable) which they can pay on-line through the link mentioned above, including all the relevant documents (Xerox copies) which includes: Marks Card of the qualifying degree, Date of Birth Certificate, domicile Certificate, Adhaar Card, Fee Receipt and bank passbook).

(Submission of hard copies of both (NATS and University application forms along with the fee receipt of Rs 200/- (Non-refundable) is mandatory without which the Online Application submitted by the candidate shall not be considered).

a) The shortlisting of the candidate shall be done on the basis of the merit in their qualifying degree wherever required.

b) The selection process of the Technical and the Administrative Apprentices/Interns will be based on the merit of their qualifying degree

and the Interview in the ratio of 85: 15 (merit of qualifying degree/Interview performance)

c) Preference will be given to the applicant who will be having a computer knowledge like (MS-office etc.). d) The selection will be done in a phased manner (as per the requirement).

Important points to note:

A stipend of Rs 12,000/month shall be paid to the Technical intern.

Breakup : (Rs 4500 from National Apprenticeship Training Scheme through DBT) (Rs 7500 from Islamic University of Science & Technology)

A stipend of Rs 10,000/month shall be paid to the Administrative intern

Breakup : (Rs 4500 from National Apprenticeship Training Scheme through DBT) (Rs 5500 from Islamic University of Science & Technology)

1. The Bank account should be seeded with the respective Adhaar card.

The mobile number should be linked with the Adhaar card.

3. There should be disparity in name between Adhaar card and the bank details, mentioned in the passbook. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of Apprentice positions advertised here- in 4.

above, without assigning any reason thereof.

All the relevant information/updates shall be uploaded on the University website at www.lust.ac.in, 6. The Candidates who have completed their Apprenticeship/Internship Training Programme are not eligible to apply again.
