Applications are invited from eligible officers serving under the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies for appointment on a deputation basis under Foreign Service terms.

Familiarity with technological developments in generation, transmission, distribution, system planning, designing, and operation. Qualifying service: Analogous posts on regular basis OR 5 years service in Level-12.
3	Director Tariff	Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900)	MBA (Finance) / CA. Must have experience in Tariff formulation, Costs Analysis, and Financial Management. Qualifying service: Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR 5 years service in Level-12.
4	Director Law	Level-12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200)	Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Experience in judicial/quasi-judicial legal matters, conducting hearings, record keeping, handling petitions, pleadings, and listing case laws. Working experience in an Electricity Regulatory Commission is an added advantage. Qualifying service: Analogous posts on regular basis OR 5 years service in Level-11.
5	Administrative-Cum-Accounts Officer	Level-8 (Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100)	Graduate degree. Must have accounts-related experience in Central/State Govt or UTs. Additional experience in general administration matters and personnel management is preferred. Qualifying service: Analogous posts on regular basis OR 5 years service in Level-7.

General Terms & Reference Guidelines:

Pay, allowances, and service rules are strictly governed by the JERC for UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh Regulations, 2024.
The age limit of candidates must not exceed 55 years as on the date of advertisement. Age calculations are evaluated solely via Matriculation/DOB certificates.
The initial deputation appointment period is scheduled for five years, with scope for further extensions in consultation with the Central Government.
Options for permanent absorption inside the Commission can be exercised upon completing two years of active deputation, subject to discretionary institutional decisions.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the personal interview selection rounds or joining assignments.
