Advertisement Notice

Department of Bioresources, University of Kashmir, Srinagar

Applications are invited in the prescribed format available at (https://bioresources.uok.edu.in/Main/Default.aspx) under announcements tab from the highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Student Internship in the ANRF funded Research Project sanctioned to Dr Manzoor Ahmad Mir, as detailed below.

The positions (1-ANRF) are initially for a period of one year, extendable for up to two years based on the candidate’s performance and availability of the funds.

| 1-ANRF | “Combating the Breast Cancer Stemness by targeting the breast cancer stem cell pathways using novel retinoids via combinatorial approach” | JRF | M.Sc in Bioresources/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/Zoology/Human Genetics and allied subjects. Age limit: 32 years on the last date of application, with relaxation as per Government of India norms. | Candidates with CSIR/UGC-NET or valid GATE score.

Research experience in the field of Cell culture, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology/Biochemistry especially on Breast Cancer cell lines. |
