The interested and eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held on 17-10-2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the Department of Botany, University of Kashmir, Srinagar.

This is for filling up one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the research project entitled “Understanding plant invasions from genetic, epigenetic and chemical ecological perspective for better restoration and management”, sponsored under RUSA 2.0. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

| 1. | Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01 No.) | 20,000.00 (consolidated) | M.Sc. Botany/Plant Sciences. The NET qualified candidates with experience in molecular approaches and having data analysis skills would be preferred. |

Candidates are requested to bring original certificates and other documents indicating qualification, age, percentage of marks, and experience in the relevant field (if any) on the day of the interview. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview. Candidates with prior experience of having worked in research projects would be preferred.

General Conditions:

* The applicants shall be responsible for the authenticity of the information provided and documents submitted.

* The applicants should be physically and mentally fit to undertake field surveys in high elevation mountainous regions.

* The staff engaged in the project shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the funding agency/University of Kashmir.
