Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI) Recruitment 2025: Exciting Vacancies for Director, Section Officer & More! (E-13012/2/2025/LPAI/Rect.)

The Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has issued a Vacancy Circular dated 11-08-2025 to fill various vacant posts at the LPAI Secretariat in New Delhi and its Integrated Check Posts (ICPs).

These positions are to be filled on a deputation (Foreign Service) basis from officers working in Central/State Government, Union Territory Administration, Statutory Body, or Autonomous Body.

The following posts are open for application at the LPAI Secretariat, New Delhi:

Note: The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Competent Authority, LPAI.

Eligibility and Other Conditions

The details regarding eligibility, functions, and responsibilities for all posts are provided in Annexure ‘A’ of the circular.

* Computer Knowledge: Applicants for posts at Level 7 and below must have a basic working knowledge of computers, especially in all modules of MS Office, including e-office and email.

* Deputation Period: The initial period of deputation will be five years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation for all posts listed in the vacancy circular is fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The appointment on deputation does not bestow any claim for regular appointment.

* Posting Location: Selected Officer/Official for the vacant posts at ICPs will be liable to be posted at any of the ICPs located at Attari, Jogbani, Raxaul, Agartala, Dawki, Petrapole, Moreh, Rupaidiha, Sabroom, Sutarkandi, Dera Baba Nanak, Srimantpur, Mankachar, Darranga, Golakganj.

* GPRA Eligibility: LPAI is an eligible office for General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) for Central Government Employees only.

Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure-‘B’). The last date for receiving applications is 26-09-2025.

Willing and eligible officials whose services can be spared immediately should send their applications, along with attested copies of ACRS/APARs for the last 5 years and Vigilance Clearance / Integrity Certificate, through proper channel to:
