Qualification: Essential : Post graduate degree in Clinical Psycho logy / counsel ing Psychology (pursued
as a full time on-campus course) from a University recognized by Universities
Grants Commission, New Delhi.
M.Phil. or post-graduate degree in dinical Psychology witha valid permanent
Desirable
Rehabilitation Council of India registrati on & Management Experience in related field
Experience: Essential Psycho-sodial counselling exper ience of at least 2 years.
We Offer:
Salary Gross INR 65,580/- per month (non-negotiable)
18 days annual leave; 12 days paid leave as per specified list of holidays; Sick/Casual leave of 12 days as per
calendar year (pro-rated based on hire date).

Job Focus:
Participate in the planning, supenvision and coordination of mental health/ pycho-social related services in the
programme in accordance with DWBI standards in order to provide the most appropriate mental health support
for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning, organization and coordination of Mental Health activities, in dose collaboration with the Mental
Health activity manager and other medical team members, in order to ensure an efficient and effective implementation of the
resources needed whike maintaining high levels of quality in Mental Health DWBI programs and activities.
Coordinates ativities of counseling services with other relevant actors and liaises with the local counterparts (like MoH, WHO,
ICRC and NGO) on mental health matters, including referal services.
-Kee ps syste matic records of work and maintains confidentiality
Supervise the daily mental health activities and patient support according to DWBI protocols and standards in order to provide
the most appropriate support for clients with psycho social needs
-Liaise with the other DWBI team members of the project.
Supervise, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training/induction, evaluation,
potential detection, development and communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to ensure both the sizing
and the amount of knowledge required
Oversee the administrative processes associated with psychosocial functioning.
When needed, give psychological support to patients according to DWBI protools to improve mental health conditions of
patients and enhance their functionality.
-Assists the Mental Health Activity Manager (MHAM) with managing and coordinating all aspects of the Mental Health (MH) team
(HR, Planning, and organisation).
-Supervise recording of patient file, collection of HIS and other data systems by mental health team.
-In collaboration with the MHAM, PC, assistant PC extended and maintain the relationship with health professionals and social
welfare system in the Kashmir Valley
Supervision of implementation of the MH protocols for Kashmir under the guidance of the MHAM.
– Provide feedback to counselling team of activities and / or data issues.
Supervision of implementation of the MH protocols for Kashmir under the guidanoe of the MHAM.
Competency in spoken Kashmiri, Urdu and English and literate in English and Urdu.
