Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow under BRNS-DAE Funded Project

Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join the BRNS-DAE funded project entitled “Compositional engineering of AREXO$_4$ (A= Li, K, Cs; RE=Gd, Y, Lu; X=Si or Ge) type of phosphor compounds for X-ray imaging technologies via their storage/scintillation characteristics”. The details of position and minimum qualifications are as follows:

Important Instructions to the Applicants:

* The position is purely temporary. In case of unsatisfactory or poor performance, the engagement can be terminated at any time by serving one months’ notice in advance.

* The selected candidate may also be considered for enrollment in the Ph.D. program in the Department of Physics, NIT Srinagar (J&K) subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, rules, and other terms & conditions set by the Institute.

* Interested candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format (copy enclosed) mentioning all the relevant details like personal information, academic qualifications, courses taken in M.Sc. and award of UGC-CSIR-NET/LS/GATE, etc. along with scanned copy of all the certificates and documents

* Only shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interviews. Such candidates will be informed via email about the date and place of the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

* At the time of the interview, the candidates are required to produce all the original certificates right from 10^{th} standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificates of NET/GATE qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of duly signed Curriculum-Vitae (CV).
