National Institute of Technology Srinagar (J&K) is one amongst the 31 NITs established by GoI, an Institution of National Importance declared by the Act of Parliament and a premier technical Institution of the Country, offering several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering/Technology, Sciences, & allied areas, and also provides excellent ambience for academic research and co-curricular activities. The Institute invites applications in the prescribed format from Indian nationals for engaging temporary teaching staff in the following Departments.

नैशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी श्रीनगर (जेएंडके) भारत सरकार द्वारा स्थापित 31 एनआईटी में से एक है, जिसे संसद के अधिनियम द्वारा राष्ट्रीय महत्व का संस्थान घोषित किया गया है। यह देश का एक अग्रणी तकनीकी संस्थान है, जो इंजीनियरिंग/प्रौद्योगिकी, विज्ञान और संबद्ध क्षेत्रों में कई स्नातक, स्नातकोत्तर और डॉक्टरेट कार्यक्रम प्रदान करता है। संस्थान निम्नलिखित विभागों में अस्थायी शिक्षण कर्मचारियों को नियुक्त करने के लिए भारतीय नागरिकों से निर्धारित प्रारूप में आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है।

Note-1: 04 vacancies [01 vacancy each for Category A (Blindness and Low Vision), Category B (Deaf and Hard of Hearing), Category C (Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy), and Category D/E (Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness, Multiple Disabilities including Deaf-Blindness)] are reserved for PwBD candidates horizontally across all departments and categories.

Note-2: Distribution of reserved vacancies across departments is tentative and is subject to change depending upon the availability of the reserved category candidates.

Note-3: Candidates with Direct Ph.D after B.Tech are also eligible for the above mentioned vacancies.

Note-4: The candidates must have first class at Bachelors and Master Degree level.

Note-5: In case of non-availability of EWS candidates, the vacancies may be filled by UR candidates on the recommendations of Selection Committee.

नोट-1: 04 रिक्तियां पीडब्ल्यूबीडी उम्मीदवारों के लिए सभी विभागों और श्रेणियों में क्षैतिज रूप से आरक्षित हैं।

नोट-2: विभागों में आरक्षित रिक्तियों का वितरण अनंतिम है और आरक्षित श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों की उपलब्धता के आधार पर परिवर्तन के अधीन है।

नोट-3: बी.टेक के बाद सीधे पीएचडी करने वाले उम्मीदवार भी उपरोक्त रिक्तियों के लिए पात्र हैं।

नोट-4: उम्मीदवारों के पास स्नातक और मास्टर डिग्री स्तर पर प्रथम श्रेणी होनी चाहिए।

नोट-5: ईडब्ल्यूएस उम्मीदवारों की अनुपलब्धता के मामले में, चयन समिति की सिफारिशों पर रिक्तियों को अनारक्षित उम्मीदवारों द्वारा भरा जा सकता है।

Terms and conditions: 1. The candidates shall be required to apply by sending applications / bio-data in the prescribed application form along with scanned copies of all the relevant certificates/testimonials on the given email only. 2. The candidates must satisfy him/herself against the eligibility before applying for the post.

3. The nature of engagement is purely temporary for a period of 11 months only. 4. The selected candidate shall have to enter into an agreement to serve the institute on the terms and conditions set by the Institute. 5. The fixed remuneration of Rs. 65,000/- per month shall be paid for the assignment for being on active duty.

3. नियुक्ति की प्रकृति पूरी तरह से केवल 11 महीने की अवधि के लिए अस्थायी है। 4. चयनित उम्मीदवार को संस्थान द्वारा निर्धारित नियमों और शर्तों पर संस्थान की सेवा करने के लिए एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर करना होगा। 5. सक्रिय ड्यूटी पर रहने के लिए प्रति माह 65,000/- रुपये का निश्चित पारिश्रमिक भुगतान किया जाएगा।

6. The selected candidates will be required to join immediately and are required to be present physically at the station of posting. 7. No accommodation is available at NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SRINAGAR. The selected candidates shall have to make arrangements of stay of their own. 8. Canvassing in any form will render a candidate ineligible.

9. The Institute reserves the right to select or reject a candidate without assigning any reason/s thereof. 10. This engagement does not confer any right on the applicant to claim either continuous employment or permanency in future.

9. संस्थान के पास बिना कोई कारण बताए किसी उम्मीदवार को चुनने या अस्वीकार करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। 10. यह जुड़ाव भविष्य में निरंतर रोजगार या स्थायित्व का दावा करने का कोई अधिकार नहीं देता है।

11. The Institute reserves the right to defer or cancel the advertisement at any stage of processing without assigning any reasons, if required. 12. The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease number of advertised vacancies, if required. 13. The institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview.
