राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान केंद्र, दिल्ली, राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान संग्रहालय परिषद, कोलकाता की एक इकाई है, जो संस्कृति मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के तत्वाधान में कार्यरत एक स्वायत्त वैज्ञानिक संगठन है, निम्नलिखित पदों को भरने के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है:- National Science Centre,Delhi is a constituent unit of National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata, an autonomous scientific organization functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the following Post :-

मूल वेतन और स्तर / Basic Pay & Level

पे मैट्रिक्स-रु.25500-81100/-(स्तर-4) तथा रा.वि.सं.प. के नियमों के अंतर्गत स्वीकृत अन्य भत्ते। प्रारंभ में कुल परिलब्धियां रु.52,755/- प्रति माह होगी।

Pay Matrix- Rs.25500 – 81100/- (Level-4) & other allowances as admissible under the rules of NCSM. Total emoluments at start is Rs. 52,755/- per month approx.

आवश्यक योग्यता / Essential Qualification

उच्चतर माध्यमिक या इसके समकक्ष और शॉर्टहैंड में न्यूनतम 80 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति, सरकारी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान(अर्थात सरकारी आई.टी.आई / सरकारी डिप्लोमा कॉलेज/एन.सी.वी.टी/यू.जी.सी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से उत्तीर्ण)से प्रमाण पत्र द्वारा समर्थित।

Higher Secondary or its equivalent and minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand, duly supported by certificate from a Government recognized Institution Government recognized Institution (i.e. passed from Govt. I.T.I/Govt. Diploma College /N.C.V.T./U.G.C. recognized University).

आयु सीमा / Age Limit

आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि को 25 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं। आरक्षित श्रेणियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा में भारत सरकार के नियमों के अनुसार छूट दी जाएगी(संदर्भ डीओपीटी का कार्यालय ज्ञापन संख्या 15012/2/2010-स्था.(डी) दिनांक 27.03.2012)। Not more than 25 years as on the last date of submission of application(s).Upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved categories, as per Government of India Rules (Ref. Job Description

Stenographic service; typing; photocopying; sending/receiving emails/fax/messages; maintenance of files, ledgers, records etc. in computer; attending to telephone calls and any other work assigned by superiors from time to time.

Procedure of selection

The recruitment process shall comprise in two stages, Written Test and Shorthand Test. Candidates passed in the written test shall be called for Shorthand Test, which will be a qualifying test.

The Written Test shall consist of the following subjects: Syllabus of Written Test :क) तर्कशक्ति / Reasoning (20 marks) ख)संख्यात्मक अभिरुचि / Quantitative Aptitude (20 marks) ग)सामान्य अंग्रेजी / General English (30 marks) घ)वर्णनात्मक / Descriptive (30 marks)

2. Office Assistant (Grade-III) :-

Basic Pay & Level

Pay Matrix- Rs.19900 – 63200/- (Level – 2) & other allowances as admissible under the rules of NCSM. Total emoluments at start is Rs.38,908/- per month approx.

Essential Qualification

Higher Secondary or equivalent. The Candidates must qualify in typing test of 10 minutes duration with at least 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer correspond to 10500/9000 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) respectively, duly supported by typing certificate from a Government recognized institution.

Age Limit

Not more than 25 years as on the last date of submission of application(s). Upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved categories, as per Government of India Rules (Ref. DoPT. O.M. no. 15012/2/2010-Estt.(D) dated 27.03.2012).

Job Description

Typing, dispatch of daks, issue of tickets, photocopying, maintenance of files, preparation and processing of bills, making entries in various registers, ledgers etc. handling purchase and stores, compilation of facts & figurers for reports, statements etc. in computer, cash handling & cheque writing whenever required; any other work entrusted by superiors from time to time.

Procedure of selection

General Terms & Conditions :

(1) Candidates applying for the post of Jr. Stenographer, are also advised to ensure furnishing of Shorthand / Stenography pass certificate from Government recognized Institution only (i.e. passed from Govt. ITI/ Govt. Diploma College/ NCVT/ UGC recognized University) to avoid rejection of their candidature.

(2) Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least minimum essential qualification (s) recognized by Central & State Govt. and /or work experience laid down in the advertisement.

(3) National Science Centre, Delhi reserves the right not to fill up advertised post, cancel the advertisement in whole or part without assigning any reason. The decision of the Centre in this regard shall be final.

(4) Interim enquires will not be entertained. Mere possession of requisite qualifications and experience shall not entitle the candidates to be called for test or / and Shorthand test. Decision of NSCD in this regard shall be final and binding.

(5) In case the information provided by candidate is found to be false or the material facts are concealed by the candidate at any stage i.e. during processing of application or even after his/her joining in the Council, the candidature shall be cancelled forthwith and his/her service shall be terminated, if appointed.

(6) Call letter (admit card) against valid application will be sent to the candidates at their e-mail IDs mentioned in the applications which is required to be produced at the time of admission to the written examination or shorthand test along with a valid photo identity card, in original, viz. Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Passport etc.

I. How to apply:

1. Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only with self-attested scanned copies of all certificates/testimonials/relevant documents in JPEG/JPG format (upto 200 KB) by clicking at the official weblink :

2. In the online Application form, candidates are required to upload the scanned colour recent passport size photograph in JPEG/JPG format (upto 100 KB) and scanned signature (upto 100 KB).

3. Candidates are advised to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection / inability or failure to login to the BITM website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days of submission of application(s).

4. National Science Centre, Delhi will not be responsible for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date for any reason.

5. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the form. After submission of the online Application Form, no change/correction/modification will be allowed under any circumstances. Requests received in this regard in any form like Post, Courier, Fax, E-mail, By Hand, etc. shall not be entertained.

6. The candidates presently working in Government, Semi-Government, Public Sector Undertaking and Autonomous Organizations must apply through proper channel or should submit

“No Objection Certificate (NOC)” of their employer. Scanned copy of “NOC” may be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format (upto 100 KB).
7. Candidates claiming for Age Relaxation may refer to the Dept. of Personnel & Training, Office Memorandum no. 15012/2/2010-Estt.(D) dated 27.03.2012).

II. Application fee applicable for the posts: i)Fee payable: Rs.885.00 {Fees. Rs.750.00 + 18% GST (Rs.135/-} (Rupees eight hundred eighty-five) only for each post.

Online payment will be processed through the payment gateway integrated with the weblink. ii)Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of application fee. iii)Fee can be paid through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card through the weblink. iv)Online fee can be paid by the candidate up to 10-09-2025.

v)Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fees have been deposited within due date. Applications which remain incomplete due to non- receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request for consideration of such applications and fee payment after the period specified in the details of advertisement shall be entertained. vi)Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
