Essential Qualification
1. BE. B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering Engineering or relevant degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%.
2. M.E./M.Tech in a related field, preferably with a specialization in Power Electronics and Drives/Solar Energy Renewable Energy with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60% for General/OBC/EWS Category and for SC/ST minimum CGPA of 6.0 Or not less than 55% marks at Master’s level, selected through a process described through any one of the following
A. Scholars who are selected through the National Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
B. The selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT. DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IT, IS, ISER, NISER etc.
3 Qualified GATE Score.
Hands-on experience in the hardware development and testing of various power electronics based systems
Desirable
Exposure to various real time controller such as Dspace/DSP
Emoluments
Rs. 37,000/-jplus 20% HRA as admissible) per month for 2 years
Rs. 42,000/-(plus 20% HRA as admissible) per month after completion of two years as JRF
The selected candidate can register for the Ph.D. program if eligible, as per the institute’s rules and statutes,
