North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Umiam is an autonomous body under the Department of Space, Govemment of India to assist development process in North Eastern Region using space science and technology.
It undertakes specific appli-cations projects using remote sensing, Geographic Information System (GIS), satellite communication and conducting space atmospheric science research. Its services are helpful in natural resources management, infrastructure, town planning, health, educa-tion, disaster management, earth observation applications mission, etc.
NESAC is conducting walk-in-interview for the following positions on temporary project basis tentatively scheduled on 04th to 08th August 2025, [reporting time is 08:30 AM)] at NESAC, Umiam, Ri Bhoi District, Meghalaya (85 kms from Guwahati Rail-way Station and 18 kms from Shillong).
