RECRUITMENT AGAINST CULTURAL QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2025-2026
EMPLOYMENT NOTICE No. 02/2025

📅 Closing Date: 19.12.2025 (17.30 hrs)
Applications are invited for recruitment against Cultural Quota for the following posts in Level-1 (GP-1800) as per the prescribed format given in this Notification.

1. QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) ESSENTIAL:
Minimum Educational Qualification
(i) Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories.
➡️ 50% marks not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates and for candidates with qualifications higher than the minimum required.
OR
Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprentice approved by NCVT/SCVT for technical categories.
OR
Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT for technical categories.
Candidates should possess requisite academic & professional qualification on the date of submission of application. Those appearing or awaiting results of the final examination are not eligible.
📌 Note: Persons appointed as Clerk cum Typist should acquire Typing Proficiency of 30 w.p.m in English or 25 w.p.m in Hindi within two years of appointment. Until then, their appointment will be provisional.
(ii) Degree/Diploma/Certificate in the relevant stream of cultural talent from a Government recognized institute.
(B) DESIRABLE:
(i) Experience in the applied discipline and performances on All India Radio/Doordarshan, etc.
(ii) Awards/Prizes won at National level.
(iii) Possession of Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Music/Dance/Drama/Instrument, etc., from a Government recognized institute.
2. AGE LIMIT (as on 01.01.2026):

📄 Copy of Matriculation or Birth Certificate should be submitted for proof of Date of Birth.
3. HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should apply as per application format (Annexure-A) in their own handwriting on good quality A-4 size plain paper, along with three recent (within last two months) passport-size photographs, duly self-attested, without wearing any wig, cap, or colored glasses.
