Northeast Frontier Railway announces the RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA for the year 2025-2026, inviting online applications from eligible Indian sportspersons for 56 posts in various pay levels.

Key Details of the Recruitment:

Posts & Pay Levels:
- Level-4/5 (Group C): 05 posts (GP Rs. 2800 / 2400).
- Level-2/3 (Group C): 16 posts (GP Rs. 2000 / 1900).
- Level-1 (erstwhile Group-D): 35 posts (GP Rs. 1800).
Sports Disciplines: Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Football, Golf, Table Tennis, Volleyball & Weightlifting.

Educational Qualifications:
- Levels 5 or 4: Graduate or equivalent from a recognized university/institution.
- Levels 3 or 2: Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent from a Govt. recognized Board/Council/Institution.
- Level 1: Passed Class 10th (matriculation) or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Age Limit: 18-25 years as on January 1, 2026 (No age relaxation applies for this quota).
Application Dates:
- Opening Date: September 16, 2025.
- Closing Date: October 15, 2025.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on educational qualification, performance in Sports Trials, assessment of sports achievements, and Interview.
