Subject: Advertisement for Recruitment of Anganwadi Worker (AWW) and Anganwadi Helper (AWH) on honorarium basis for Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Gurez.

Reference 1: Government Order No. 222-JK(SWD) of 2022 Dated: 30-11-2022.

Reference 2: Mission Director J&K Social Welfare Department letter No:

Reference 3: Approval has been accorded vide letter No. SWS/ICDS/Recruitment/2022-23/796, 48-47/79 dated 11-05-2024 for AWW/AWH recruitment and Approval vide MD Poshan/58948-51 Dated 09-12-2024 for filling up of vacant position of AWW/AWH.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts:

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

* The candidate must be domicile of the UT of J&K.

* The candidate’s age as on 01-01-2024 must be between 18 to 36 years.

* The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where the AWC is situated. Name in the voter list for the ward shall be considered as the proof of residence of the candidate. In case the name of the candidate appears in the voter list of an adjacent ward, she will be considered subject to the non-availability of any eligible candidate in the advertised ward.

* AWW/AWH must be a female candidate and preference shall be given to a candidate who belongs to the BPL Category.

* AWW Qualification: Candidate must have minimum qualification 10+2 and maximum qualification Graduate. In case of a married candidate, preference will be given to the candidate who is from the immediate family of the Sarpach/Ward Member concerned (daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, etc.) provided she is from the same Ward.

* AWH Qualification: Candidate must have minimum qualification Matric and maximum qualification 10+2. Preference will be given to the candidate who belongs to the BPL Category.

* Weightage shall be given for the period of service rendered by a candidate from the vacant ward who has participated in the selection process to the approval of the MD Poshan.

Document Verification

* Date of birth certificate (Matriculation Certificate).

* Domicile Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/concerned authority.

* Voter Certificate from concerned Electoral Officer/Tehsildar.

* Academic Qualification Certificates.

* Candidates belonging to BPL category must provide a valid certificate for the same.

* Character Certificate from a Gazetted Officer.

* A set of self-attested photocopies of all documents along with the application form.

* Candidates must submit two recent passport size colour photographs and one original Photo ID Proof.
