Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The engagement will follow the guidelines envisioned in Govt. Order No: 103 JK (SWD) of 2023. Key criteria include:

Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates must be between 18-37 years of age as of 01-01-2026.
The applicant must be a domicile of the UT of J&K and a resident of the specific Electoral Ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum qualification is Matriculation. In the absence of a matriculate candidate, those with a qualification not less than 8th standard pass will be considered.
Preference is given to married candidates; however, unmarried candidates may be considered if no married applicant is available.

Documents Required

Applicants must submit self-attested copies of the following documents: Ward Residence Certificate from the concerned BDO, Domicile Certificate from the Tehsildar, Date of Birth Certificate, 10th Marks Card, Ration Card, and Marital Status Certificate. An affidavit from a first-class magistrate is also mandatory.

Application Procedure: Applications must be submitted on the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) at the Office of the Child Development Project Officer Singhpora by or before 10-05-2026 (4:00 PM). Application forms can be obtained from the office free of cost.
