Eligibility and Selection Process
Eligibility criteria, relaxations, compensation, and service agreement details are as per the earlier advertisement CC/07/2024.
Candidates must qualify in GATE 2025 and Personal Interview separately for empanelment.
Empanelment will be based on overall merit, category, and the preference exercised by candidates during application.

- Online registration opens on 30 September 2025 at https://www.powergrid.in/
- Last date for submission: 16 October 2025 (23:59 hrs)
- Candidates must register with GATE 2025 Registration Number and other required details.
- Application Fee: ₹500/- (Non-refundable) except for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates.
- Fee payment to be made through the POWERGRID online payment portal.
- Applications without fees (if applicable) or incomplete submissions will be rejected.
- No hard copy submission required.
Important Instructions
- Upload recent photo (≤50kb), signature (≤30kb), DOB, and qualification certificates.
- Enter name, category, and qualification details as per original certificates.
- Only specified engineering disciplines are eligible.
- Retain GATE 2025 Admit Card and Score Card for verification.
- Applications can be edited/updated until the last date.
- Candidates must agree to all conditions before submission.
- Identity verification during GD/Interview will require original photo ID and GATE documents.
- Management reserves the right to modify vacancies if required.
