Position	Manager – Engineering
No. of Posts	One / Full-Time / On-Site
Location	Qul HQ, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar
Qualification	Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
Experience	8+ years in engineering operations, preferably in agri, infra, or manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end engineering operations across pre- and post-harvest verticals, ensuring reliable, efficient, and high-quality infrastructure and services.
Oversee orchard infrastructure, cold storage & CA facilities, automated grading lines, and pole manufacturing with high uptime and minimal breakdowns.
Drive operational efficiency, control costs, and establish performance benchmarks across assets and systems.
Build and manage a strong multi-vendor ecosystem, reducing dependency and improving accountability.
Develop and implement standard designs, SOPs, and engineering systems across divisions.
Strengthen internal engineering capabilities while supporting expansion and new project execution across locations.

Skills:

Strong operations mindset with the ability to manage infrastructure at scale.
Focus on reliability, uptime, and service quality.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Analytical approach to cost, efficiency, and performance optimisation.
Comfortable working on-ground across multiple sites.
