2. HOW TO APPLY

i) Candidates are required to register online at the RAC website (https://rac.gov.in).

ii) On successful registration, the candidates may login before the closing date of the advertisement to fill the application form online. The candidates are required to upload the requisite certificates (See Para 3 for details), the details of the application fee payment (if not exempted) and lock the application before submission of the same.

iii) Instructions for Candidates working in Government or in Government owned organizations (PSU/Joint venture, Government promoted societies and Government/Non-Government companies/ Agencies/ Entities where Government or Government promoted companies/Agencies/Entities have a combined controlling stake of 50% or more):

Candidates serving in Govt/Govt owned organizations should submit their applications online directly to RAC, under intimation to the Cadre Controlling A) 1. Authority (CCA) of their employer for seeking a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” for their application for the desired post. The proof of submission of this INTIMATION LETTER must be uploaded by the candidates at the RAC website within 15 days of the closing date of receipt of online applications, failing which their application may be rejected.

Such candidates will need to produce the NOC from their employer during document verification on or before the day of interview. Failure to submit the NOC at the time of interview may lead to the cancellation of the candidature.

However, if the candidates in Govt/Govt owned undertakings serving in A) II. temporary capacity (including those who got employed after the closing date of

the advertisement), are unable to get the NOC from their employer, they are advised to intimate their employer about their application for the desired post along with an undertaking that he/she will resign from the parent department in the event of their selection by RAC for the said post.

In the intimation letter by the temporary employees to their employer it should also be mentioned that the employer must communicate with RAC directly (at email: [email protected]) in case of any objection to their application for the post. The format of the INTIMATION-CUM-UNDERTAKING letter is available on the RAC website.

The proof of submission of the LETTER OF INTIMATION-CUM-UNDERTAKING must be uploaded at the RAC website within 30 days of the closing date of receipt of online applications, failing which their application may be rejected. Such candidates will also have to bring the acknowledged copy of intimation-cum-undertaking letter (signed/stamped by employer) at the time of interview.

B) In case any objection from the employer of the candidate (whether serving in permanent or temporary capacity) is received by RAC, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in interview.
