Online applications are invited on prescribed forms from the eligible candidates (MBBS Graduates Only) for engagement as Stipendiary Junior Residents against vacant and likely to be vacant positions in SKIMS on tenure basis, initially for a period of six months.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (Issued before last date of Application):

* MBBS degree from a recognized College/University as per NMC Criteria.

* Registration Certificate from J&K Medical Council (Permanent).

* Domicile Certificate of J&K.

* Date of Birth Certificate.

(Above certificates must be issued before last date of submission of application form)

NOTE:

* Age: Not more than 45 years as on last date of submission of online application form.

* No under process certificate(s) shall be entertained.

* No application shall be entertained after last date of submission of form.

FINANCIAL EMOLUMENTS:

The appointee shall be paid revised stipend and other usual allowances as admissible under rules. However, HRA shall be payable only in favor of those Junior Residents who are not provided accommodation of any kind at the SKIMS campus.

HOW TO APPLY:

Interested candidates have to apply online on SKIMS website (www.skims.ac.in).

The link for filling of online application shall be available from 30.10.2025 to 15.11.2025 (04:00 P.M.).

The candidates have to produce print-out of online filled application form along with uploaded certificates and fee receipt of Rs 1000 (Non-Refundable) submitted online as and when asked by SKIMS (Deemed University).

DATE OF INTERVIEW/WRITTEN:

The date for Interview/Written test shall be notified separately on SKIMS website. No individual Communication shall be made in this regard.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

The engagement shall be governed by all terms & conditions of tenure engagement in vogue at SKIMS and the appointee shall abide by all the rules governing the tenure engagement. Any breach thereof shall make him/her liable for relieving from the tenure job immediately.

* CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED IN THEIR OWN INTEREST TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATIONS MUCH BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE AND NOT TO WAIT TILL THE LAST DATE TO AVOID THE POSSIBILITY OF DISCONNECTION/ INABILITY OR FAILURE TO LOGIN TO THE ONLINE APPLICATION PORTAL ON ACCOUNT OF HEAVY LOAD ON THE WEBSITE DURING THE CLOSING DAYS.

* Candidates are advised to fill the application form carefully & diligently, as no claims for making changes in any entry/field shall be entertained at any later stage.

* SKIMS will not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications for the eligibility and other aspects at the time of Written Examination/Interview and, therefore, candidates will be accepted only provisionally.

The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational/qualification, age, etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post(s). Copies of supporting documents will be sought at the time of Document Verification.

When scrutiny is undertaken, if any claim made in the application is not found substantiated, the candidature will be cancelled and the SKIMS’s decision shall be final and binding.

* When application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. Candidate should take printout of the application form and submit the same at the time of Documents Verification. The candidates are further advised NOT to submit the hard copies of the Online application form in SKIMS either in person or by post/e-mail.

* The candidate must write their father’s name strictly as given in the Matriculation Certificate, otherwise their candidature may be cancelled at the time of Document Verification or and when it comes into the notice of the SKIMS.

* Applications with blurred/ illegible Photograph/ Signature will be rejected summarily.

* Request for change/ correction in any particulars in the Application Form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances. Therefore, the applicants are advised to fill all the fields of the online application form with due diligence and after carefully reading the terms and conditions given in the advertisement Notification.

* CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO COMPLETE APPLICATIONS IN ALL 6-STEPS shown at Point-11. Applications with Incomplete Steps shall be REJECTED without any further notice.
