Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Medical College (SKIMS-MC), Bemina, Srinagar, under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Senior Residents (SRs) in various disciplines on an academic arrangement basis.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the post of Senior Resident must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must possess MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC)
- Must have MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty
- Must be registered with NMC / State Medical Council
- Must fulfill eligibility conditions as per J&K Government and DME norms
Age Limit
- Maximum age shall be as per prevailing Government of J&K rules for Senior Resident posts under academic arrangement
Selection Process
- Selection shall be made strictly on the basis of merit
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to appear for document verification and/or interview
- The decision of the competent authority shall be final
Salary and Remuneration
- Salary shall be paid as per Government norms applicable to Senior Residents under academic arrangement in the Department of Medical Education, J&K
