Last Date of Receipt of Application Forms 20th June, 2025 till 3:30 PM.

The applicants can download the application form from official website ie http://www.skimsmc.edu.in, candidates shall have to pay Rs.500/- to CD-10 account J&K Bank Branch located in the SKIMS Medical College Premises and attached the same bank receipt with application form.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in concerned speciality (Recognized by NMC as per the latest regulations) in the relevant subject. Valid result notification from the University/ DNB exit certificate can be considered.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Prescribed Application form (affixed with recent passport size photograph) duly completed and accompanied with self-attested copies of following certificates should be deposited in the Academir Section of SKIMS MCH, Bemina.

1. Date of Birth Certificate (10th/Secondary School Exam.)

2. MBBS Degree Certificate.

3. Internship Completion Certificate.

4. Permanent/Additional Degree Registration Certificate of J&K Medical Council.

5. MD/MS/DNB Degree (or result notification).

6. Medical Fitness Certificate.

7. NOC from parent department in case of PSC confirmed candidates (See details below).

NOTE:

In-service candidates (PSC Confirmed) should route their application through parent department; however, they should deposit advance copy of application form (photocopy) within the last date of filing the forms. Application forms would be rejected in the event “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the parent department is not produced.

TENURE:

The tenure engagement of Senior Residents shall be for an initial period of one year, extendable by another one year, upon recommendation of the concerned HOD,

based on performance report which requires to be endorsed by the Head of the Institution. Extension for third year shall be considered, again subject to performance report from the HOD and final endorsement by Head of the Institution. However, extension in tenure engagement shall also be subject to other conditions as provided in other clause(s) of the advertisement.

PAY SCALE:

Stipend to Non Inservice (PSC non-confirmed) Sr Residents (Registrars/Tutor Demonstrators) shall be paid as per Govt. order no. 48-SKIMS of 2018 dated June 06, 2018 endorsed vide no. SIMS 302 02 (XXXXV)/2018-1678-90 dated June 06, 2018. The In-service candidates shall draw same salary as they were drawing in their parent department with usual allowances, as admissible in this Institution.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The tenure engage shall not apply for any position of Sr. Residency (Registrarship/Tutor-Demonstratorship) outside this Institution for at least 01 year after joining the position at SKIMS Medical College. Relaxation for permission to apply would be accorded on merits of case by the Principal on perusing recommendations of the concerned HOD.

2. For entitlement to experience certificate, the engage should have served for at least six months of tenure. Relaxation if any would be accorded on merits of the case by the Principal on perusing recommendations of the concerned HOD.

3. The tenure engage shall not participate in any strike or demonstration during the period of engagement. Any deviation would attract strict action including termination of engagement without any notice.

4. That the tenure engage shall submit self-attested photocopies of all the requisite certificates at the time of joining and shall also produce original documents for verification. Additional qualification, registration certificate or proof of having applied for the same to the J&K State Medical Registration Council / MCI shall be compulsorily produced within one week of joining.

5. That in case of unsatisfactory performance / conduct/behavior, the engagement tenure can be terminated anytime without any notice.

6. That the tenure engagement shall not confer any right on the engage to claim continuation or extension beyond the term and the engage shall be deemed to be automatically relieved upon expiry of term;

unless otherwise considered and tenure specifically extended by the competent authority, and upon expiry of which term the engage shall be deemed to have been relieved automatically without any notice.

7. The engage shall have to reside within the vicinity of SKIMS Medical College so as to remain available at the time of emergency, in addition to routine duties.

8. That the tenure engage shall be entitled to HRA only if in campus accommodation has not been allotted and subject to obtaining of certificate to this effect from Estates Officer SKIMS Soura /SKIMS MC Bemina.

9. That unless separately stipulated, all conditions laid down in engagement policy document issued vide endorsement No: SKIMS/MC/PS/2023/455 Dated: 25/04/2023 as amended from time to time would operate in these engagements.

10. That there will be no winter / summer vacation during the tenure engagement.

11. That the tenure engage shall work on fulltime basis and would not be entitled to private practice or undertake simultaneous part/full time job anywhere else.

12. The tenure engages who are not Inservice (PSC non-confirmed) shall have to join within seven (07) days from issuance of this order. However, in-service (PSC confirmed) candidates will have to join within twenty-one (21) days from issuance

of this order after getting properly relieved from parent department, failing which they shall forfeit their claim and tenure engagement shall stand cancelled without any further notice. Relaxations if any would be accorded by the Principal on merits of the case after perusing recommendations of the Registrar Academics.

13. That the engages can be deployed to allied specialties at SKIMS Soura/SKIMS MC Bemina and Community Health Blocks attached to both the institutions or to any outreach area in the interest of Patient Care / Academics for a period as demanded by the situation/as and when needed by the Administration.

14. The engages shall adhere to duty timings applicable at the place of posting. The Administration may at its discretion change working hours, shifts and duty timings as and when required in the interest of patient care / academics.

15. That first 30 days salary of the doctor shall be kept as security deposit and released at the end of the tenure. If the doctor leaves the tenure before one year (unless selected for Superspecialisation/Faculty Position), the said deposit would be forfeited.

16. That code number and salary release letter shall amongst under conditions be issued by the Registrar upon receiving clearance from the NMC Cell of the College with whom the required certificates / soft copies would have to be submitted for NMC Inspection.

17. That the engage shall be required to submit an undertaking sworn before first Class Judicial Magistrate within two weeks of joining in support of acceptance of all terms and conditions of tenure engagement & that the engage shall abide by all rules governing the tenure engagement and

further that any breach thereof shall make the engage liable to be relieved from the tenure job immediately without any notice. TILL SUCH TIME THE PRESCRIBED AFFIDAVIT IS NOT SUBMITTED THE SALARY SHALL NOT BE RELEASED.
