Government of Jammu & Kashmir, SKIMS Medical College Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar (J&K)-190017, has issued an abbreviated advertisement notification for tenure engagement.

The institution invites applications from eligible domicile candidates of J&K and Ladakh for vacant or likely vacant tenure posts of Senior Residents (Registrars/Tutor Demonstrators) in specific specialties.

Specialty/Department	Essential Qualification
GENERAL MEDICINE	MD/DNB in General Medicine/ Emergency Medicine
RADIOLOGY	MD/DNB in Radiology
BIOCHEMISTRY*	MD/DNB (Biochemistry) OR MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with PhD in Medical Biochemistry.

*In view of present exigencies, Biochemistry candidates with PhD clinical Biochemistry from NMC recognized institutes can be considered as Tutor Demonstrators if MD/PhD Medical Biochemistry candidates are unavailable.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE & CONTACT:

Applicants must download the form from www[dot]skimsme[dot]edu[dot]in.

A fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid to CD-10 account at the J&K Bank Branch located within the SKIMS Medical College Premises.

Completed forms with self-attested certificates (DOB, Internship, Registration, PG, Medical Fitness, NOC) should be deposited in the Academic Section of SKIMS MCH, Bemina.

The age limit is set at not more than 45 years as of January 1, 2026. The tenure is initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and recommendations.
