Recruitment Overview & Notification Details
Government of Jammu & Kashmir, SKIMS Medical College Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar has issued Advertisement Notification No: SKIMS-MC (08) Acad of 2026 dated 07-08-2026. Applications on prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates possessing NMC recognized MBBS qualification for tenure engagement against vacant/likely vacant positions of Junior Residents. The posts shall carry salary as per rules.
जम्मू और कश्मीर सरकार, सिक्िम्स मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल, बेमिना, श्रीनगर ने विज्ञापन अधिसूचना संख्या: SKIMS-MC (08) Acad of 2026 दिनांक 07-08-2026 जारी की है। जूनियर रेजिडेंट के रिक्त/संभावित रिक्त पदों पर कार्यकाल जुड़ाव के लिए एनएमसी मान्यता प्राप्त एमबीबीएस योग्यता रखने वाले पात्र उम्मीदवारों से निर्धारित प्रारूप में आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं। पदों पर नियमानुसार वेतन दिया जाएगा।
Eligibility & Required Documents
The applicant should possess MBBS qualification recognized by NMC with One Year Compulsory Rotatory Internship from NMC Recognized Institutions. Candidates must also possess Permanent Registration Certificate from J&K State Medical Council. Prescribed application form duly completed along with self-attested copies of required certificates should be deposited in the Academic Section of SKIMS MCH, Bemina.
आवेदक के पास एनएमसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों से एक वर्ष की अनिवार्य रोटेटरी इंटर्नशिप के साथ एनएमसी द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त एमबीबीएस योग्यता होनी चाहिए। उम्मीदवारों के पास जेएंडके स्टेट मेडिकल काउंसिल से स्थायी पंजीकरण प्रमाण पत्र भी होना चाहिए। विधिवत पूर्ण निर्धारित आवेदन पत्र आवश्यक प्रमाण पत्रों की स्व-सत्यापित प्रतियों के साथ अकादमिक अनुभाग, सिक्िम्स एमसीएच, बेमिना में जमा किया जाना चाहिए।

Application Procedure & Contact Information
Application forms can be downloaded from official website skimsmc[dot]edu[dot]in.
Candidates shall have to pay Rs 500 to CD-10 account J&K Bank Branch located in the SKIMS MCH premises and attach the bank receipt of same with the application form.
Application forms along with required documents must be deposited in the Academic Section of SKIMS MCH, Bemina, Srinagar J&K 190017 on or before 25/08/2026 on all working days.
Selection Methodology & Examination Scheme
The examination will be of Objective Type with Multiple Choice Questions. Merit sheet shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the said examination. Tenure engagement(s) as Junior Resident shall be made as per the availability of positions becoming vacant from time to time, and the merit list would remain valid for a period of 12 Months from issuance. In case of a tie, the candidate senior in age shall be given preference. There shall be no negative marking. Preliminary Answer Keys shall be uploaded on the college website on the same day after examination.
परीक्षा बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्नों के साथ वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार की होगी। उक्त परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर मेरिट शीट तैयार की जाएगी। जूनियर रेजिडेंट के रूप में कार्यकाल जुड़ाव समय-समय पर रिक्त होने वाले पदों की उपलब्धता के अनुसार किया जाएगा, और मेरिट सूची जारी होने से 12 महीने की अवधि के लिए वैध रहेगी। टाई होने की स्थिति में उम्र में वरिष्ठ उम्मीदवार को तरजीह दी जाएगी। कोई नकारात्मक अंकन नहीं होगा। परीक्षा के बाद उसी दिन कॉलेज की वेबसाइट पर प्रारंभिक उत्तर कुंजी अपलोड की जाएगी।
