Advertisement Notice for filling the position of (01 No). SRF (Agronomy) on Contractual basis under the Project AICRP-IFS as detailed below:

Essential Qualification

Master degree in relevant subject with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/having specialization in Agronomy.

Desirable Qualification

Having knowledge in crop production/diversification.

Knowledge of computer.

Fully well worsed with farming system research/ Natural farming/organic farming evidently attending symposia/training etc.

Terms & Conditions: The position is temporary and contractual basis and co-terminus with the project to be filled

initially up to 31st March, 2025 and further extendable as per the performance of the candidate and approval by the funding agency. The candidate if selected shall have no claim for regularization in the university/ project the emolument to position advertised is as per the SFC provisions and existing guidelines of ICAR norms.

The expenditure shall be met within the allocated budget for this financial year 2024-25 under the sub head “Operational Charges.” The appointee has to serve AICRP on IFS, SKUAST-J. The appointee can be terminated by the University/concerned Incharge of FSR centre of the project at any stage in case of unsatisfactory work and shortage of funds.

The application form dully filled in and singed should reach in the office of the Chief Scientist & Incharge, FSR, Block No-03, 1st floor, FOA, SKUAST-J, Chatha along with self attested copies of the certificates on or before 11-03-2025.

The eligible candidates will be interviewed at the office of the Director of Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha on 17-03-2025 at 11.00 AM.

No Separate intimation shall be issued and no TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
