Advertisement for Walk-in-Interview

Applications are invited from candidates for the temporary position in ICSSR funded project entitled “Assessing the Impact of Jal Jeevan Mission on Rural Water Accessibility, Health and Livelihoods in Jammu and Kashmir” operational in the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu as detailed below:

How to Apply: Eligible candidates interested may attend the Walkin interview on 11-02-2025 at 11:00 AM with the prescribed application form and self attested copies of all documents (2 sets) related to qualification, experience and age. Applicants must bring their all original certificates at the time of interview and reach the venue well before time of interview.

Venue: Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Main Campus, Chatha. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. The detailed terms and conditions along with the application form are available at skuast.org.

Terms and conditions

a) The engagement shall be purely on temporary and contractual basis and likely to be continued only if the performance of candidate is satisfactory.

b) The candidate shall have no legal right to claim regularization/appointment in SKUAST-Jammu by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any further contractual engagement as the scheme is purely time bound, non-regular and co-terminus with the project.

c) The engagement shall automatically cease with termination of the project or if the performance of the selected candidate isn’t found satisfactory, whichever is earlier/applicable.

d) The University/Funding Agency reserves the right to withdraw advertised post at any stage, without assigning any reason thereof.

e) Selected candidate shall have to produce all original documents at the time of joining.

f) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

g) Desirous candidates are advised to keep on visiting the university website for any update regarding change in date of interview or otherwise. No separate advertisement shall be issued for the same.

h) The decision of Competent Authority, SKUAST-J shall be final and binding in all aspects.
