Advertisement Notice for Project Technical Support-III

A walk-in interview on 13th November 2025 is being conducted for the position of Project Technical Support-III for the research project titled “Comparison of Respiratory Health of Workers and Local Inhabitants with the General Population of Kashmir Valley: A Cross-Sectional Study.”

Eligible and interested candidates are invited to apply using the prescribed format. This project, sanctioned by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), offers a temporary engagement that will end with the project’s duration.

Number of Posts: 02
Remuneration/Salary: Rs. 28,000 + 10% HRA per month (Consolidated)
(Subject to the release of funds by the funding agency)

Qualifications

Essential:

Graduation (Nursing/Public Health/Lab Technology/Pharmacy/Epidemiology/Biostatistics) with three years’ experience in the relevant field.
OR
Postgraduate in (Nursing/Public Health/Lab Technology/Pharmacy/Epidemiology/Biostatistics) with one year experience in the relevant field.

Desirable:

Expertise in Data Analysis using R, SPSS, or Stata.
Minimum of 3 publications in indexed journals as First or Corresponding Author.
Skills in Scientific Writing, Systematic Reviews, and Meta-analysis.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
Period of Engagement: 6 months.

Nature of Duties:

Data collection from different districts of the valley.
Data scrutiny, analysis, report writing, and correspondence-related tasks.

Attendance will be marked at 10:00 a.m., and only those present will be allowed to appear for the interview.

General Instructions:

The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Duration of appointment: 6 months.
Salary depends on the release of funds by the funding agency.
Candidates must bring original and attested copies of certificates at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be provided.
University reserves the right to defer or cancel recruitment without notice.
Service conditions will be as per IUST or funding agency rules.
