TERRITORIAL ARMY RECRUITMENT

SELECTION IN THE TERRITORIAL ARMY IS ‘FAIR AND TRANSPARENT’ AND ON MERIT ONLY. IT IS ATTACHY ANY BRIBE TO ANY ONE TO ARRANGE FOR SELECTION OR RECRUITMENT IN THE TERRITORIAL ARMY. CANDIDATE SHOULD NOT FALL PREY TO UN SCRUPULOUS PERSONS POSING AS RECRUITING AGENTS.

RALLY FOR SOLDIER (GENERAL DUTY) AND OTHER VACANCIES/ENROLLMENT will be carried out in the following area:

* 126 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Jammu and Kashmir RIFLES will be carrying out the recruitment rally at Madhopur (Punjab) from 30 Nov 2025 to 07 Dec 2025, for Zone-I candidates of Domiciles of UT of J&K, UT of Ladakh and Pathankot District of Punjab.

* Vacancies for Zone-I: Soldier GD-X-16.

* District/Tehsil wise schedule of recruitment is as under:-

Note: Candidates to report at recruitment rally site at 02:00 AM. No entry after 05:00 AM.

4. Age. 18 to 42 Years as on date of Recruitment.

5. Physical Parameters. (a) Height-160 Cms (b) Weight-Min 50 Kgs (c) Chest-77 Cms with expansion of 05 Cms.

6. Education Qualification.

| Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject. For boards following grading system minimum ‘D’ grade (33-40) in individual subject or grades which contains 33% and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade. |

7. Documents should get the following original documents along with two sets of photocopy duly attested by Gazetted officer as mentioned below :-

7.1. Domicile Certificate.

7.2. Character Certificate (Duly signed by Sarpanch/SHO/Principal of School only).

7.3. Caste Certificate.

7.4. Colour passport size photographs (Numbers-20) (Computer print photographs will not be accepted).

7.5. Original marks sheet of educational qualification.

7.6. Photocopy of PAN Card & Aadhar Card.

7.7. Unmarried certificate (Issued from Sarpanch/MC and for married candidate certificate issued by Tehsildar/Distt Magistrate.

7.8. Exam, Written Exam. Candidates passing Physical & Medical Test will have to appear for written Note.

1. Son of servicemen/ Ex-servicemen/ widow/ war widow requires to bring discharge book and original relation certificate issued by respective Record Office and affidavit by first class judicial Magistrate.

2. Outstanding sportsmen (International, national & state level) require to bring original certificates of participation issued by competent authority.

3. Should not belong to any reserve force nor having any reserve liability.

4. Should not be dismissed/removed from Territorial Army, Regular Army, Navy or the Air Force.

5. Should not have more than one wife living.

6. Should not be convicted for an offence in criminal court.

7. Territorial Army is purely a voluntary organization and essentially a part time job. People will be employed temporarily based on Govt. sanction & organizational requirement.
