ADVERTISEMENT FOR EMPANELMENT OF VALUERS

In pursuance of its business needs, The J&K State Cooperative Bank Ltd. invites Expression of Interest (E.O.I) in Hard Copy from experienced, qualified, and professionally competent Valuers / Valuation Firms for empanelment to undertake valuation of Movable and Immovable Properties in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Qualifications, Certifications & Work Experience

Educational Qualification:

Real Estate Valuers: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Town Planning or equivalent.
Machinery / Equipment Valuers: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Production, Electronics, Computer, Industrial Engineering, or any other stream of Engineering.

Required Certifications:

Mandatory: Registration under Sec. 34AB of Wealth Tax Act, 1957.
Additional / Optional Certifications:
- The Valuer must be a member in good standing of any one of the Valuer Associations.
  Or
- Registration with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years work experience in the field of valuation of Real Estate or Machinery / Equipment after completion of the degree.
Completed at least 5 (five) assignments successfully as Valuer during the immediately preceding 3 years / 36 months.

Terms & Conditions

The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
Empanelment does not constitute any commitment for a minimum volume of work. Assignment of valuation work will be at the sole discretion of the Bank based on requirement, expertise, and location.
The Bank may shortlist, category-wise, based on eligibility, experience, and other criteria it deems fit.
The valuation fees will be as per the Bank’s prevailing schedule of charges, which will be communicated upon empanelment. It will be based on the type and value of the asset.
The Valuer shall indemnify the Bank against any loss, damage, or legal liability arising from any negligence, error, or omission in the valuation report.
The Bank reserves the right to terminate the empanelment and blacklist the Valuer in case of any professional misconduct, submission of incorrect/misleading valuation reports, or violation of the terms and conditions.
In the event of any dispute or difference arising between the parties, the matter shall be referred to the Managing Director, who shall act as the sole arbitrator, and whose decision shall be final and binding upon both parties.

E.O.I (s) Document for Empanelment as Valuer should reach the above-mentioned address on or before 10-11-2025.
