10. Selection Process

GATE 2025 marks for Engineering posts (EDP, Electrical, Mining, Mechanical, Chemical) will be the basis of shortlisting for interview.
UGC NET June 2025 marks for Personnel Management trainees will be used similarly.
Other posts will be shortlisted based on written test, psychometric tests, group exercises, or interviews.
Merit list will be prepared on combined scores: 80% GATE/NET and 20% Interview marks.
Reservation rules will be applied.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for subsequent stages.
Verification of original documents will be done during the interview or further process.
Any amendments to process and vacancies may be made by UCIL.

11. General Terms and Conditions

Indian nationals only, above 18 years.
No change in category once applied.
Maximum age calculated as of last date of application 24/09/2025.
Candidates found ineligible or falsifying documents will be disqualified.
Application fee Rs. 500 applicable for General/OBC, exempt for SC/ST/PwBD/Female/ internal candidates.
No correspondence after recruitment closure.
Legal jurisdiction: Ranchi courts only.
Candidates must download call letters from website.
